Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to performing mobile network configurations or changes. A first device is presented for performing the mobile network configuration or change, and a second device is presented for generating feedback for supporting the mobile network configuration or change. The first device is configured to send a support request to the second device, wherein the support request specifies a reusable or specific feedback type and a target information. The second device is configured to send reusable or specific feedback about the target information in response to the support request. The first device is then configured to determine a configuration or change of the mobile network based on the reusable or specific feedback. The reusable feedback includes a value or set of values of the target information and at least one coordination parameter indicating how the reusable feedback is to be used by multiple second devices.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a method and an apparatus for improving a mobile network system. In one example method, the apparatus may comprise an Application Function, AF, and a Policy Control Function, PCF, wherein the AF is configured to request the PCF to configure the multiple QoS levels for the session.
Abstract:
The present application relates to a mobile core network (MCN) supporting end-to-end (E2E) network slicing, which comprises a controlling entity (CA_NF), one or more network function (NF) entities extended with functionalities (CA-NFExt), a network management entity (OSS) extended with functionalities (CA_OSSExt), and a coordination entity (CA_CF). The CA_NF communicates with the CA_OSSExt through the CA_CF using interfaces (If-CA_MP and If-CAC_OSS), and with the CA-NFExts using a respective interface (If-CA_NF) and/or other NFs interfaces. Based on information received from the OSS and the NF entities, the CA_NF generates a context with a certain type, sends, based on the generated context, context-related information towards entities impacted by the generated context amongst the NF entities and the OSS, and blocks, for a period of time, a transmission of any generated context towards the NF entities upon receiving, from the OSS, a notification message once the OSS decides to enforce a change.
Abstract:
The patent application relates to a system for service embedding and resource orchestration, the system comprising: a service providing entity to provide services to users; at least one physical infrastructure providing entity, configured to provide infrastructures, the infrastructures composed by physical resources which are virtualized and exposed for usage; a brokering entity interfacing the service providing entity and the physical infrastructure providing entities, wherein the brokering entity is configured to provide the service providing entity with the infrastructures from the physical infrastructure providing entities based on an optimization criterion with respect to availability, cost and technical characteristics of the infrastructures.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a new generation mobile network, and particularly to the generation of analytics information in the network. To this end, the disclosure proposes a first network entity for generating the analytics information, and proposes a second network entity and a third network entity, respectively, for supporting the analytics generation. The first network entity is configured to obtain, from the second network entity or from one or more third network entities, past and/or current association information for an area of interest. Further, it is configured to provide analytics information based on the obtained association information for the area of interest. The past and/or current association information indicates one or more other network entities and/or network properties that, respectively, have been and/or are mapped to or serving the area of interest.
Abstract:
A network entity for controlling distribution of slice service level agreement (SLA) information of a network slice in a mobile communication network is provided, wherein the network entity is configured to: obtain a plurality of slice SLA indications, wherein each slice SLA indication is obtained from a network control entity of a first plurality of network control entities; and provide to a network control entity local slice SLA information, wherein the local slice SLA information is based on the obtained plurality of slice SLA indications. A network control entity for supporting distribution of slice service level agreement (SLA) information for a mobile communication network is provided, wherein the network control entity is configured to: provide a plurality of slice SLA indications to a network entity for controlling distribution of slice SLA information of a network slice; obtain local slice SLA information related to a network slice from a second entity, wherein the local slice SLA information is based on the obtained plurality of slice SLA indications.
Abstract:
Analytics information is generated in a new generation mobile network. A first network entity generates the analytics information, and a second network entity and a third network entity support the analytics generation.
Abstract:
An edge computing (EC) entity belongs to an EC system, and a mobile communication core MCC entity belongs to a MCC system, like a 3GPP system. The EC entity is configured to obtain topology information of the EC system, and expose the topology information to another network, in particular to a MCC system. The MCC entity is configured to receive topology information of an EC system from the EC entity, and provide the topology information to a network exposure function (NEF) or to a policy control function (PCF) of the MCC system.
Abstract:
The disclosure relates to a first entity for a communication network, in particular a mobile communication network, configured to obtain, from a second entity and/or a third entity, information for the second entity comprising a request for analytics information and/or a request for a rule related to analytics information that can be provided by the first entity. The first entity can be further configured to provide to the second entity analytics information according to one or more rules, in particular according to the request for analytics information, and/or the requested rule. Alternatively, the first entity can be further configured to forward the obtained information to a fourth entity according to one or more rules. Moreover, the disclosure relates to a corresponding method.
