Abstract: Example random access methods and apparatuses are provided. One example method includes: receiving SUL configuration information, where the SUL configuration information includes at least one first SUL resource and at least one SUL selection threshold that are corresponding to a first SSB; determining, based on a downlink measurement value of the first SSB and the at least one SUL selection threshold, a carrier resource used for random access, where the carrier resource includes one of the at least one first SUL resource or includes a non-SUL resource corresponding to the first SSB; and performing random access on the determined carrier resource.

Abstract: A first access network device receives an addition request message from a second access network device. The first access network device determines a third uplink carrier used by a terminal to send a preamble to the first access network device, and sends an addition request acknowledgement message to the second access network device. The addition request acknowledgement message includes carrier indication information. The carrier indication information indicates the third uplink carrier. The third uplink carrier is at least one of the first uplink carrier or a second uplink carrier. The second uplink carrier and the first uplink carrier belong to a same cell of the first access network device and the second uplink carrier is a supplementary uplink carrier.

Abstract: The technology described herein relates to determining transmit power of an uplink signal, to ensure uplink transmission performance of an new radio (NR) base station, and reduce impact on uplink transmission of a long term evolution (LTE) terminal. The technology includes receiving a message sent by a network device, where the message carries a first loss parameter related to a first uplink carrier and a second loss parameter related to a second uplink carrier, and calculating transmit power of an uplink signal. Where the uplink signal is sent on the first uplink carrier, the transmit power of the uplink signal can be calculated based on the first loss parameter related to the first uplink carrier. Where the uplink signal is sent on the second uplink carrier, the transmit power of the uplink signal can be calculated based on the second loss parameter related to the second uplink carrier.

Abstract: Embodiments provide a communication method, a network device, and a terminal device. Under the method, a network device can send SRS configuration information of a first transmission resource and of a second transmission resource to a terminal device. The first transmission resource is a switching source carrier or bandwidth part. The second transmission resource is a switching destination carrier or bandwidth part. The SRS configuration information of the first and second transmission resource includes a first OFDM symbol set and a second OFDM symbol set respectively. Some and all symbols in the first set and second set may be used by the terminal device to send an SRS on the first and second transmission resource respectively. In various embodiments, the network device configures one or more symbols for the terminal device to transmit an SRS, so that high-frequency channel measurement can be better supported.

Abstract: An uplink control information sending method, a network device, and a terminal are provided. A terminal determines physical uplink control channel PUCCH channel resource configuration information. The PUCCH channel resource configuration information is used to instruct the terminal to send uplink control information based on a configured PUCCH channel resource, and the PUCCH channel resource configuration information is preconfigured, or is sent by a network device. The terminal sends the uplink control information based on the PUCCH channel resource configuration information using the configured PUCCH channel resource. The uplink control information includes one or a combination of downlink data acknowledgement information, a downlink channel state information, a scheduling request, and buffer state information. According to the method, a speed of feeding back uplink control information corresponding to downlink data and a speed of performing feedback using an uplink request resource can be increased.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a downlink control channel indication method, a terminal device, and a network device. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal device, indication information sent by a network device on a preset frequency band of a first time frequency resource, where the first time frequency resource partially or completely overlaps with a second time frequency resource; and determining, by the terminal device, a location of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) time frequency resource of the first time frequency resource according to the indication information. In the technical solutions of this application, the terminal device of the first time frequency resource can determine the location of the PDCCH time frequency resource.

Abstract: An information processing method and a terminal device are disclosed. The method is applied to a terminal device and includes: grouping DL component carriers CCs based on a downlink DL transmission length; and sending UCI based on grouped DL CCs by using an uplink UL CC, where the UCI is UCI corresponding to the grouped DL CCs, and transmission lengths of DL CCs in at least one DL CC group of the grouped DL CCs are all the same. According to embodiments of the present invention, an information transmission delay can be reduced.
