Abstract:
A paging group network includes multiple paging groups formed by areas covered by base stations (BSs). The paging group network further includes an anchor paging controller (PC) and a relay PC. The anchor paging controller initiates a page to a mobile station (MS), addresses the paging group in which the MS is located, and stores status information about the MS in a corresponding location register (LR). The relay PC manages the paging groups. A method for updating MS locations is also provided. Thereby, the present invention optimizes the paging and location updating processes, and reduces the complexity of managing the idle mode.
Abstract:
A method for paging an idle MS includes: a PC sends a Paging Announce message to the BS, starts a timer and sets a paging count threshold; the BS pages the MS; if no paging response is received from the MS before expiry of the timer, the PC compares the number of times of paging with the set paging count threshold, and re-sends the Paging Announce message or cancels the paging operation, according to the comparison result. A method for stopping paging to an idle MS includes: a BS in a PG pages an MS, and a network side sends a paging stop message to at least one other BS; and at least one other BS stops the paging process. A paging includes a central processing unit for setting a paging count threshold and judging whether a paging response is received.
Abstract:
A method, a system and an apparatus for performing mobile Internet protocol deregistering, includes that the network element in the ASN to which the terminal attaches detects whether the MS terminates unconventionally, and sends the message with the MS identifier of the MS which terminates unconventionally to the ASN GW/DP. The ASN GW/DP instructs the ASN GW/FA to release the link resource with the MS and release the link resource with the HA proving service for the MS.
Abstract:
A MIP system and a method for updating an HA-RK are disclosed. The AAA server generates and delivers a new HA-RK before expiry of the old HA-RK, thus eliminating the time gap between expiry of the old HA-RK and obtaining of the new HA-RK and making the MIP registration seamless. In the system, if the remaining lifetime of the old HA-RK is less than or equal to the lifecycle of the MSK in the EAP process, a new HA-RK is delivered; otherwise, no new HA-RK needs to be delivered. If both a new HA-RK and an old HA-RK are valid on the network entity at a time, then only the old HA-RK applies and the new HA-RK is not active until expiry of the old HA-RK. Alternatively, both the new HA-RK and the old HA-RK are active concurrently, and are differentiated by an SPI.
Abstract:
A method for a terminal to join a multicast broadcast service (MBS) in a wireless network and a wireless communication system are provided, so as to enable a terminal to successfully join an MBS and receive MBS content. The method and the system relate to a wireless communication field. A terminal obtains MBS parameters that include a first ID indicating an air interface connection and a second ID indicating MBS content from a network, so that the terminal can receive the MBS content indicated by the second ID from the air interface connection indicated by the first ID after receiving the MBS parameters and thus successfully join the MBS. The terminal may initiate an MBS join process by sending an MBS join request message, so as to obtain the MBS parameters and join the required MBS. The network may actively initiate the MBS join process to send the MBS parameters to the terminal and invite the terminal to join the MBS.
Abstract:
A method for generating and distributing MIP security key after Re-Authentication, including: an AAA Server generates an EMSK during a Re-Authentication process; the MS generate a new first MIP security key for the MS according to the EMSK, and replaces the corresponding old first MIP security key with the new first MIP security key; and a HA receives new second MIP security key information for the HA which is sent by the AAA Server actively, or requests from the AAA Server the new second MIP security key information for the HA, and replaces the corresponding old second MIP security key that is locally stored with the new second MIP security key that is sent by the AAA Server actively or requested from the AAA Server. The present invention ensures execution of MIP Registration process after Re-Authentication.

An alkaline electrochemical cell comprising a negative electrode, wherein the negative electrode includes zinc as an active material and further includes a synergistic combination of a solid zinc oxide and a surfactant. More particularly, the invention discloses an alkaline electrochemical cell that is capable of providing improved service when utilized by high drain devices.
Abstract:
A method for managing the context of the mobile station (MS) is applied in an MS handover process of a wireless access network. The function entity identification information of acting on the MS is carried in the context of the MS, and the MS addresses based on the function entity identification information and handovers to the target base station. By adding the identifications of various logic entities acting on the MS to the context information of the MS, the correct addressing of these logic entities is ensured during the handover. The different local policies of the source and destination ends are considered during conveying the context of the MS, in which the destination end may update certain context of the MS according to its own local policy during conveying; and the hierarchy of the context conveying of the MS during the handover is also considered.
Abstract:
A method for implementing MIP registration or deregistration includes obtaining, by a physical entity in which a destination MIP Foreign Agent (FA) resides, an identity of a mobile terminal (MT ID) and address information of an anchor proxy mobile node or an authenticator; sending a message carrying the MT ID to the anchor proxy mobile node or the authenticator; and implementing MIP registration or deregistration for the mobile terminal corresponding to the MT ID using a credential, in which the credential corresponding to the MT ID is acquired from the anchor proxy mobile node or authenticator.
Abstract:
In the Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM), an improvement in estimating the channel impulse response (CIR) is obtained by starting up two channel estimators using the midamble and obtaining channel estimations with split burst. The two estimations are then cross-correlated to obtain the estimated CIR.
