摘要: An apparatus includes processing circuitry configured to output a first superframe configured in an initial superframe mode that allocates each slot of a plurality of slots for wireless communication to a first protocol at a first frequency band, a second protocol at the first frequency band, or a third protocol at the first frequency band. The processing circuitry is also configured to output a second superframe configured in a multi-frequency superframe mode that allocates: i) at least one slot of a plurality of slots for wireless communication to the first protocol, the second protocol, or the third protocol at the first frequency band, and ii) at least one slot of the plurality of slots for wireless communication to the first protocol, the second protocol, or the third protocol at the second frequency band.

摘要: A data processing method and apparatus for LTE and WLAN aggregation and a communications system. The data processing method includes: receiving, by a WLAN termination in a WLAN link, data transmitted by a PDCP layer in an LTE link, and transmitting the data transmitted by the PDCP layer to an LLC layer in the WLAN link after processing; and feeding back highest successfully delivered PDCP sequence number information and/or unsuccessfully delivered PDCP sequence number information to the PDCP layer in the LTE link. Hence, a problem that an LLC layer is unable to provide transmission status indication necessary to a PDCP layer may be effectively solved.

摘要: A wireless device receives a sequence of packets in a first set of durations on a first wireless network according to a first wireless protocol. The border router forwards the received sequence of packets in a second set of durations on a second wireless network according to a second wireless protocol. None of the first set of durations overlaps with any of the second set of durations. The first set of durations and the second set of durations are realized according to time division multiplexing. The sequence of packets are received and forwarded by the wireless device using a shared transceiver. In an embodiment, the wireless device is a border router of a wireless mesh network, and the first wireless protocol and the second wireless protocol are respectively according IEEE 802.15.4 and IEEE 802.11.
