    摘要: A plurality of electronic control units (ECU) are classified under a plurality of ECU groups. A relay is provided for each ECU group, and connected between each ECU in a corresponding group and a power supply. Connection is established between respective ECUs by a communication network. When power is turned ON, each ECU outputs a flag indicating its own communication enabled state as long as there is no error in the communication function. A relay error detection portion detects, based on communication state information indicating whether each ECU is in a communication enabled state or communication disabled state, an error of the relay when the communication state information between ECU groups is inconsistent. Thus, an error in a relay that is provided for each group can be detected with a simple configuration.

A constant velocity universal joint includes an outer joint part having a plurality of track grooves formed on its cylindrical inner circumferential surface and extending in an axial direction, an inner joint part having a plurality of track grooves formed on its spherical outer circumferential surface and extending in the axial direction, six torque transmitting balls, each being put in a ball track formed by a pair of the track groove of the outer joint part and the track groove of the inner joint part, and a cage having pockets for retaining the torque transmitting balls. The center of curvatures of the spherical outer circumferential surface and the center of the spherical inner circumferential surface of the cage are offset by the same distance in the opposite directions along the axis about the center of the joint. A circumferential arrangement of the ball tracks is made with a uniform pitch, and a circumferential arrangement of the pockets of the cage is made with a random and non-uniform pitch of 55° or more.

    摘要: A communication control apparatus, mounted on each node of a telecommunications system, receives node type information selected by a neighboring node, and transmits node type information selected by the own node and node type information of another node. The apparatus receives the state variable signal of the neighboring node reflecting a phase representing another node's data transmission timing, and transmits a state variable signal representing the own node's data transmission timing. Subsequently, the apparatus selects the own node's node type in accordance with another node's type information received. The apparatus then varies, based on the own node's node type information selected, another node's node type information and the neighboring node's state variable signal, the state of the own node's phase in accordance with a time evolution rule based on a phase response function and a synchronization alliance function for thereby determining the own node's data transmission timing.

    摘要: The battery pack charging method charges a battery pack, which is a plurality of lithium ion rechargeable batteries connected in series, to full charge by constant current and constant voltage charging. Constant current charging is performed until total voltage reaches a prescribed total voltage. Subsequently, constant current charging is switched to constant voltage charging until full charge is reached. In addition, the voltage of each battery being charged is detected. When the voltage of any battery exceeds a first specified voltage, charging is switched to pulse charging.

    摘要: The outer diameter of a joint outer ring is reduced using simple means, so that a constant velocity universal joint that can easily be reduced in weight and size is provided. It is an object to improve the unnerving vibrations, muffled noises, and the like. The constant velocity universal joint includes a joint outer ring having a plurality of track grooves formed in the inner circumference, a joint inner ring provided with track grooves corresponding to the track grooves of the joint outer ring, a plurality of balls provided in the ball tracks interposed between the joint outer ring and the joint inner ring and formed by cooperation of the track grooves to transmit torque, and a cage having pockets for retaining the balls. In the constant velocity universal joint having a plurality of vehicle body attachment flanges provided apart from each other in the outer circumferential direction of the joint outer ring and partly protruding in the radial direction. The joint outer ring has a flower outer circumferential shape corresponding to the inner circumferential shape, and the vehicle body attachment flanges are provided at outer recesses positioned between the track grooves of the joint outer ring. In this joint, the number of the balls is six, and the pitches of the ball tracks are random, unequal and not less than 55°.
