摘要： A lawn tractor includes a vehicle body, a center reel-type cutting unit, and side reel-type cutting units arranged laterally of the center reel-type cutting unit with respect to a moving direction of the vehicle body, wherein a cutting track by the center reel-type cutting unit and cutting tracks by the side reel-type cutting units partly overlap one another. A first lift mechanism vertically movably connects the center reel-type cutting unit to the vehicle body, wherein the first lift mechanism is operable to raise and lower the center reel-type cutting unit without displacing the center reel-type cutting unit transversely of the moving direction. Second lift mechanisms vertically movably connect the side reel-type cutting units to the vehicle body, respectively, wherein the second lift mechanisms are operable to raise and lower the side reel-type cutting units without displacing the side reel-type cutting units transversely of the moving direction.

摘要： A reel mower having side reel mower units and a center reel mower unit connected to a vehicle body to be vertically movable between a lower position for a grass cutting operation and an upper position for a non-operational run. The side reel mower units and center reel mower unit have reels driven by reel drives under control of a control mechanism. A forcible stopping device is provided for forcibly stopping the reel drives of the reel mower units with priority over control of the reel drives by the control mechanism when the side reel mower units and center reel mower unit are all in the upper positions.

摘要： A lawn mower having a driver's section and a grass cutting unit forwardly of a vehicle body; an engine mounted between front and rear wheels; and a pair of main frames extending longitudinally of the vehicle body, each of the main frames including a front frame member, and a rear frame member connected to the front frame member and disposed at a lower level than the front frame member. The engine is mounted below the main frames between the front and rear wheels, and has a radiator disposed rearwardly of the engine and having an upper portion projecting upwardly of the rear frame members. The engine is surrounded by a first cover assembly including side covers depending respectively from the main frames, lower covers connecting the respective side covers to lower positions of the engine, and a front cover for closing an area forwardly of the engine. The first cover assembly defines first ambient air intake openings. A second cover is disposed rearwardly of the driver's section for covering the upper portion of the radiator. The second cover defines a second ambient air intake opening in a forward portion thereof. Cooling air flows produced by a fan disposed adjacent the radiator are drawn through the first and second ambient air intake openings, at least a large part of the cooling air flows being exhausted rearwardly through the radiator.

摘要： A four wheel steering tractor comprising a grass cutting system vertically movably mounted in a lower space of the tractor between front and rear wheels. The grass cutting system carries gauge wheels disposed at opposite lateral sides in rear regions thereof. An interlocking structure between a steering wheel and the front and rear wheels includes a front drag link extending from a pitman arm toward the left (or right) front wheel, and a rear drag link extending from the pitman arm toward the right (or left) rear wheel. This interlocking structure places the center of tractor turning approximately on a straight line extending through the gauge wheels and adjacent one of the gauge wheels.

摘要： A rear discharge type mower apparatus includes a blade housing, a support shaft supported by the blade housing, a rotatable blade supported by the support shaft, and a front guide plate having a shape extending substantially along the rotation path of a corresponding blade. The front guide plate forms an opening for ejecting cut grass rearwardly and has a downstream plate portion located in a downstream position with respect to a rotating direction of the corresponding blade and having an end defining one end of the opening. The downstream plate portion extends rearwardly of the blade housing and a distance from a center of rotation to the downstream plate portion is progressively decreased toward a rear end of the blade housing. At least a part of the downstream plate portion is located radially inside of the rotation path of the corresponding blade.
