摘要： Apparatus for use in the adhesion measurement of an adhesive sheet comprising a standard surface to be sticked with a main portion of the adhesive sheet, a take-up roller for pulling and taking up the free end portion of the sheet while peeling the sticked sheet portion from the standard surface by the rotation thereof, a source of driving force for rotating the take-up roller, and a torque meter interposed between the source of driving force and the take-up roller for generating torque signals corresponding to the adhesion of the adhesive sheet. The apparatus further includes: a base table extending in parallel with the standard surface; and track rolling members operatively connected to the take-up roller and mounted to a machine frame supporting the take-up roller, the torque meter and the source of driving force, and the rolling members being adapted to roll on the standard surface at the same speed with the peripheral speeed of the take-up roller.

摘要： A universally articulable supporting sheath comprises an interconnected series of links, each having a convex spherical surface at one end, and a concave spherical surface at its opposite end. The concave and convex surfaces mate with one another to form the sheath. Special links having branch openings may be provided. Various forms of waterproofing seals are provided, including O-rings, axially compressed rings, flexible belts, and ridges on the spherical surfaces. The links can be fitted together by thermal expansion. However, an axilly split link is also described, which comprises two parts which snap together. The split parts may be molded as a unit with an integral thin wall hinge. The bending characteristics and bending radius of a sheath can be modified by insertion of spacers between the links at selected locations, or by the insertion of pins into radial holes provided in the links. Spacers with tongues may be used to prevent rotation of the links about the sheath axis, while allowing unidirectional articulation. Projections on one of a pair of mating spherical surfaces can be engaged with holes, slots or recesses of rectangular or other shapes to produce various limits on articulation and rotation. A single link may be provided iwth several alternatively usable holes, recesses and the like. The outer surface of a link can be provided iwth an axial extension engageable with a surface of an adjoining link to prevent back bending, or to prevent bending altogether.

Moreover, the intermediate layer is formed so as to be harder than the envelope layer and the cover. In addition, the thickness and surface hardness of the cover, and the combined thickness of the envelope layer, intermediate layer and cover are each optimized within specific ranges.

In cases where a new abnormality occurs when the snapshot data storage unit has no free storage area, if snapshot data at a priority level lower than that of the new abnormality exists in prior snapshot data stored in the snapshot data storage unit, the storage control unit stores the snapshot data regarding the new abnormality in the snapshot data storage unit in place of the prior snapshot data at the lower priority level while associating the new snapshot data with the basic information. Thus, the administrator is able to acquire the snapshot data regarding an abnormality in question with high reliability.

The intermediate layer has a material hardness and the core has a surface hardness which together satisfy the condition (JIS-C hardness of intermediate layer material)−(JIS-C hardness of core surface)>0. A sphere composed of the core encased by the intermediate layer has an initial velocity and the core has an initial velocity which together satisfy the condition (initial velocity of sphere composed of core encased by intermediate layer)−(initial velocity of core)≧0. The sphere composed of the core encased by the intermediate layer has a deflection and the core has a deflection which together satisfy the condition 0.80≦(deflection of sphere composed of core encased by intermediate layer)/(deflection of core). The cover is formed primarily of polyurethane, and the cover material has a Shore D hardness and the intermediate layer material has a Shore D hardness which together satisfy the condition (Shore D hardness of cover material)−(Shore D hardness of intermediate layer material)≦0. The golf ball of the invention has an excellent flight performance and feel, a good durability to repeated impact, and an excellent scuff resistance.

The golf ball has an excellent flight performance and controllability that are acceptable to professionals and other skilled golfers, while also having an excellent durability to cracking on repeated impact and an excellent scuff resistance.
