摘要: The present disclosure relates to a fiber optic cable that includes a plurality of internal optical fibers and a fiber optic cable portion. The fiber optic cable portion includes an outer jacket and an inner conduit, the inner conduit containing the plurality of optical fibers disposed therein. The fiber optic cable further includes a flexible conduit portion, wherein the flexible conduit portion has a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end is secured to the fiber optic cable portion and the distal end has a terminating device. The terminating device at least partially encases the flexible conduit portion, and the plurality of optical fibers passes through the flexible conduit portion and the terminating device.

摘要: A mounting system for an optical network includes a backboard member having a plurality of mounting regions, at least one networking component having a data input, at least one data cable communicatively coupled with the data input, and at least one fiber trough member operably coupled with the backboard member. The at least one networking component is operably coupled with the backboard member via one of the plurality of mounting regions. The at least one fiber trough member includes an elongated base surface having first and second ends and a body extending therebetween, a first elongated wall surface having a curved side profile, and a second elongated wall surface including at least one routing opening. The second elongated wall surface is adapted to overlap the first wall surface. The elongated base surface and first and second elongated wall surfaces define a cavity to retain the at least one data cable.

摘要: A cable guide apparatus includes a first longitudinal channel defined by first, second, and third walls, the third wall toward and away from the first. The second and third walls may have a plurality of openings to facilitate bending of the longitudinal channel and any cables secured therein. The first wall may include a plurality of closure mechanisms, such as hooks, and the third wall may include a plurality of closure mechanisms, such as lips. The cable guide apparatus has an open condition in which cables may easily be inserted into the channel, and a closed condition in which the cables are secured in the channel. The width of the openings may define a maximum amount the cable guide apparatus may bend, such that cables secured within the apparatus do not bend to the point of being damaged.

Also included may be a spring release mechanism coupled to the body, the spring release mechanism sliding in the longitudinal direction between a locked position, such that the first and second spring arms engage the terminal end of the trough, and an unlocked position, such that the first and second fingers release the first and second arms of the spring.

摘要: There is provided a multi-joint cable protection and guide device that fits well with a flexible belt member in a flexed posture, that steadily protects and smoothly guides cables that assume the flexed posture, that requires fewer parts and that may be readily connected and disconnected corresponding as desired according to usage. The multi-joint supporting member has the flexible belt member in which cable inserting tubular portions are unitarily molded in parallel and a train comprising a plurality of block bodies flexibly connected with each other by concave-convex snap-fittings. The train of block bodies is inserted through the cable inserting tubular portions to control and support straight and flexed postures of the flexible belt member and each block body has a flexion outer peripheral-side curved surface whose curvature is equal to a radius of a flexed circular arc in the flexed posture.

摘要: A cable duct is provided for cables to be laid along walls or tops of subterranean tubes, ducts, etc. for the transport of water, energy, data, optical fiber cables, etc. The cable duct is installed in the tube from a surface through access shafts and fixed to the duct. The cable duct is formed by cable duct body elements, disposed one behind the other in a longitudinal direction, connected to one another at the ends thereof such as to be pivoted relative to one another at a lateral angle about a lateral pivot axis. Each of the body elements is formed by two cover plates and connected to one another by a web. Laterally open chambers are disposed on both sides of the web for housing the cables. The chambers are sealed by edge cover strips forming two closed longitudinal chambers with the connected angularly adjustable body elements.
