    摘要: A method of managing radiation detectors allows the radiation detectors to be assembled into a radiographic image capturing apparatus such that defective pixels of the radiation detectors are not disposed at the same pixel position (coordinates). The method comprises the steps of recognizing the positions of defective pixels of a plurality of manufactured radiation detectors, referring to the recognized positions of the defective pixels, and assembling at least two radiation detectors into the radiographic image capturing apparatus in a superposed relationship, such that the defective pixels of the radiation detectors are not superposed one on the other.

    摘要: A radiation image capturing device includes a radiation image capturing unit, a diaphragm unit, and a control unit. The radiation image capturing unit captures a radiation image based on radiation transmitted through a subject. The diaphragm unit has an opening region that is configured to transmit a part of the radiation emitted from a radiation source and an area thereof is changeable, and the diaphragm unit is configured such that a transmission dose of the radiation decreases as a distance from a circumferential part of the opening region increases. The control unit controls the diaphragm unit such that direct rays of the radiation are irradiated onto a predetermined region of the subject.

    摘要: An imaging area specifying apparatus that includes a storage component and a specifying component is provided. The storage component stores as correlation information a correlation value correlated with the amount of radiation emitted to each of a plurality of predetermined areas divided from a detection region of a radiation detector that outputs an electric signal indicating a radiological image represented by radiation which is emitted to the detection region for detecting the radiation. The specifying component specifies an imaging area capable of capturing the radiological image of a predetermined size while preventing variations in the amount of radiation emitted to each of the divided areas in the detection region, on the basis of the correlation information stored in the storage component.

    摘要: Disclosed is a silver halide photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, wherein the silver halide emulsion is produced in the presence of a polyalkylene oxide group-containing organopolysiloxane. The emulsion being produced in the presence of the defoaming agent is prevented from being foamed in a stirrer rotating at an elevated rotation speed. The stirring performance of the stirrer is enlarged, and the conditions for forming the silver halide grains can be controlled more uniformly. The photographic properties of the emulsion are improved and it is easy to scale up the production of the emulsion.

The scintillator includes a columnar portion including a group of columnar crystals formed by growing crystals of the phosphor in columnar shapes and a surface configured by a set of tips of the columnar crystals is disposed in close contact with the pixel array without being bonded to the pixel array. Both of the substrate of the radiological image conversion panel and the substrate of the sensor panel are flexible, and the isolated space is depressurized.

    摘要: A scintillator receives radiation and produces light. The scintillator is composed of columnar crystals arranged upright. Conical end portions of the columnar crystals are embedded in a resin layer formed on a light detection section. The resin layer, made from a thermosetting resin material, is heated and cured with the end portions embedded therein. Because a refractive index of the resin layer is lower than that of the columnar crystals, average refractive indices of respective layers between the columnar crystals and the light detection section change continuously. The resin layer prevents the end portions from damage and improves efficiency of incidence on the light detection section.
