摘要: An X-ray CT apparatus according to an embodiment includes a photon counting detector and processing circuitry. The photon counting detector includes a plurality of detection areas arranged in a channel direction and a column direction and is configured to output detection signals corresponding to the quantity of photons incident thereto, the detection areas each including a plurality of detecting elements. The processing circuitry is configured to calculate a heat generation amount for each of the detection areas on the basis of the detection signal corresponding to the incident photons detected in the detection area, to determine a control amount on the basis of the heat generation amount calculated for each of the detection areas, and to control temperature in each of the detection areas by using the determined control amount.

摘要: Cooling systems of a CT system and methods of cooling the CT system are disclosed. The CT system includes a gantry and a table that moves an object into a bore of the gantry, wherein the gantry includes a cover having a front surface in which at least an inlet slot is formed and a rear surface in which exhaust holes are formed along with exhaust fans in the rear surface of the cover of the gantry. Fans for the in-take and exhaustion of air are not required to be formed on the front surface of the cover of the gantry. A hole through which external air is taken in through the inlet slot is moved in a rotor of the gantry.

摘要: A portable radiological cassette is designed to equip a digital radiological system. The cassette comprises a digital ionizing radiation detector in the form of a flat panel which makes it possible to provide an image which depends on the radiation received, with an electronic board ensuring the control of the digital detector, and a casing ensuring the mechanical protection of the detector and the electronic board. The cassette additionally comprises a flat seating which supports the detector on a first one of its main faces, and supports the electronic board on a second one of its main faces, the two main faces being opposite. The seating is formed by a heterogeneous stack produced such that the surface thermal conductivity of the seating is greater than the transverse thermal conductivity of the seating.

摘要: The present invention provides for an improved scanning process with a stationary X-ray source arranged to generate X-rays from a plurality of X-ray source positions around a scanning region, a first set of detectors arranged to detect X-rays transmitted through the scanning region, and at least one processor arranged to process outputs from the first set of detectors to generate tomographic image data. The X-ray screening system is used in combination with other screening technologies, such as NQR-based screening, X-ray diffraction based screening, X-ray back-scatter based screening, or Trace Detection based screening.

摘要: A gantry includes two X-ray source rings and a detector ring. Each X-ray source ring includes a plurality of X-ray sources arrayed circumferentially. The detector ring is provided next to the X-ray source ring and includes a plurality of X-ray detectors arrayed circumferentially. Each of the plurality of X-ray detectors detects X-rays from the X-ray source ring. A data collection circuit collects raw data corresponding to the intensity of the detected X-rays. A reconstruction unit reconstructs the collected raw data into a CT image based on digital data.
