The front ends of the plurality of sheets stacked on the processing tray are abutted against the stopper and are reliably aligned. The stack of a predetermined number of sheets to be accommodated in the processing tray is aligned and stacked all at once in the processing tray while being simultaneously gripped by the gripping portion 5a of the movement gripper in a plurality of sheet groups. The temporal margin is thereby produced compared to when aligning and stacking are performed one sheet at a time, and thus is effective in realizing the high speed process at low cost and maintaining high productivity.

A sheet processing apparatus staples a bundle of sheets, folds the sheets into two to make a book, and presses the folded sheets.A stitch bookbinding unit moves a press unit having press rollers and, a press holder, and the like constituting a creasing unit along the fold of a bundle of sheets subjected to the folding process by the press rollers and so as to reliably nip-press the fold by the nip between the moving press rollers and for pressing it. The press holder performs intermittent movement in which it is stopped during movement.

The present invention relates to a sheet processor apparatus comprising: a sheet stack portion on which a sheet is stacked; a sheet conveyance path for conveying a sheet stacked on the sheet stack portion; a sheet conveyor for conveying to the sheet conveyance path the sheet stacked on the sheet stack portion; and a sheet folding device for folding a sheet in the sheet-set conveyance path. The sheet folding device is provided in the sheet conveyance path, and at least a portion of the sheet conveyance path at which the sheet folding device is positioned is formed into a curved shape.

The sheet stacking-aligning apparatus or the sheet processing apparatus includes a substantially horizontal stacking tray, a rear end aligning unit for aligning a rear end of a sheet bundle on the stacking tray, and a control unit for controlling an operation of the rear end aligning unit for aligning the sheet bundle when it is in an upstream position of the stacking tray, and the stacking tray is provided substantially horizontally. It is thus made possible to increase the stacking space, thereby increasing the number of stackable sheets and to achieve the alignment of the rear end of the sheet bundle with a simple configuration, thereby improving the stacking-aligning property of the sheet bundle on the stacking tray.

When a developer supply cartridge is set at a predetermined position for discharging a developer into a developing device on a cartridge holding portion of the developing device, the developer supply cartridge is locked by a locking member so as to be detached from the predetermined position. When a sensor has detected that the amount of the developer remaining within the developing device has been reduced to an amount equal to or less than a predetermined amount, the locking is released in response to a signal from the sensor.
摘要:
A sheet stacking apparatus includes an alignment roller which conveys a sheet to a sheet positioning member and an opening and closing shutter which is disposed so as to face a sheet stack surface of a sheet stack guide. The sheet positioning member abuts a sheet end in a sheet conveying direction to align the sheet. The sheet is stacked on the sheet stack guide. The opening and closing shutter has a regulating area where sheet conveying guide and buckling of the sheet are regulated from an upstream side to a downstream side in the sheet conveying direction of the alignment roller. A guide interval formed between the opening and closing shutter and the sheet stack surface can be changed. Therefore, in sheet conveying positioning, the buckling can securely be prevented in the sheet stack guide.
