摘要： A meander line antenna includes a rectangular-parallelopiped base member made from a dielectric material having barium oxide, aluminum oxide, and silica as main components, a meander-shaped conductor having, e.g., 10 corners made of copper or a copper alloy by printing, deposition, pasting, or plating inside the base member, and a power-feed terminal for applying a voltage to the conductor. The meander-shaped conductor is formed in the longitudinal direction of the base member. One end of the conductor is led to a surface of the base member to form a power-feed section and is connected to the power-feed terminal. The other end of the conductor serves as an open end inside the base member.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a photoconductor, a developing electrode, at least a magnet disposed in the developing electrode, and a developer. The developing electrode is reciprocally movable against a rotation axis of the photoconductor. Thus, a setting angle of a magnetic pole of the magnet is not varied, even when the developing electrode is moved for cancelling decentering and deflection of the photoconductor and the developing electrode.

摘要： Disclosed is an electrophotographic apparatus capable of producing a high-quality image free from image defects such as fine line dropouts. A photoconductor drum is used that has a magnet mounted therein in immovable fashion. After an electrostatic latent image is formed, the image is brought into contact with magnetic developer in a developer reservoir, causing the developer to be attracted to the photoconductor surface by magnetic force. When the photoconductor drum is rotated past an electrode roller to which an AC voltage is applied, toner is left only in image areas and the latent image is developed into a visible image. A sheet-like sealing member contacting the photoconductor is disposed on the upstream side of the developer reservoir in the rotating direction of the photoconductor drum. A conductive layer is provided on the surface of the sealing member opposite the surface thereof contacting the photoconductor.

摘要： An antenna for receiving electromagnetic waves in a desired frequency band, includes a radiating conductor and a ground conductor, a feeder part, a wavelength-shortening section, and a magnetic field applying section. The radiating conductor and a ground conductor resonate at a resonance point frequency. The feeder part is configured to feed the radiating conductor with electricity. The wavelength-shortening section in which a magnetic body having both a dielectric property and a magnetic property is disposed close to the radiating conductor shifts the resonance point frequency into a band lower than the desired frequency band by a wavelength-shortening effect obtained based on the dielectric property and the magnetic property. The magnetic field applying section is configured to apply a magnetic field to the magnetic body so as to reduce a magnetic loss due to the magnetic body.

摘要： When an image forming apparatus, after a feeding error of a recording material occurs in a fixing device, re-forms on the recording material an image corresponding to image data which image was formed on a sheet which caused the feeding error, an image forming condition is caused to be different from an operation condition used when the feeding error has occurred. This makes it possible to prevent a JAM corresponding to the same image from recurring in the fixing device.

In the base material, 5 to 25 parts by weight of graphite is dispersed in 100 parts by weight of polyimide. With this, it is possible to improve the durability of the external heating belt and adequately secure the life of the external heating belt.
