摘要： A method and an apparatus for sorting chromosomes or cells by utilizing a difference in fluorescent profilepatterns. A linear laser beam having a high beam intensity is formed from several fringe patterns, and fluorescence intensities from local portions of chromosome or cell are measured in real-time. Resolution of chromosome or cell is improved. A type of flowing chromosome or cell which permits the rotational conditions within a range can be sorted accurately and rapidly.
