Abstract: The present invention relates to a positive-type planographic printing plate precursor comprising: a hydrophilic substrate; an image recording layer including a novolak resin (A) and a light-to-heat conversion agent (B), disposed on the substrate, the image recording layer increasing in solubility in an aqueous alkali solution when exposed to light emitted from an infrared laser, wherein the weight average molecular weight (Mw) of the novolak resin (A) is in a range of 500 to 10000 based on polystyrene, the molecular weight being found by a gel permeation chromatographic (GPC) method using monodispersion polystyrene as a standard, and the degree of dispersion (Mw/Mn) is 1.7 or less when the weight average molecular weight (Mw) is 500 to 3000, the degree of dispersion (Mw/Mn) is 2.0 or less when the weight average molecular weight (Mw) is 3000 to 4500, and the degree of dispersion (Mw/Mn) of the novolak resin (A) fulfills the following equation: (Mw/Mn)≦{(4·Mw−1500)/5500}, when the weight average molecular weight (Mw) is 4500 to 10000.

Abstract: A valve timing control system for an internal combustion engine. The valve timing control system comprises a rotation control mechanism including a housing, and a vane rotor rotatably disposed inside the housing and having at least one vane section. The vane section defines a first chamber and a second chamber which are located on opposite sides of the vane section, hydraulic pressure being selectively supplied to and released from the first chamber and the second chamber so as to controllably accomplish a relative rotation of the vane rotor to the housing. The vane rotor is formed at its axially end section with a depression. A first camshaft is connected to the vane rotor by a cam bolt piercing the vane rotor along an axis of the vane rotor. A second camshaft is disposed parallel with the first camshaft. A first driving force transmission member is installed to the housing and connected to one of a crankshaft and the second camshaft. Additionally, a second driving force transmission member is installed to an end section of the first camshaft together with the vane rotor by the cam bolt and connected to the other of the crankshaft and the second camshaft. The second driving force transmission member includes a generally cup-shaped section having a cylindrical wall portion fitted on the end section of the first camshaft and fitted in the depression of the vane rotor.

Abstract: The present invention relates to CAD device for designing molding pieces in addition to aiding mounting component parts or machining component part mounting holes for plural plates which are stacked to constitute a metal mold. The CAD device, which can prepare a drawing and generate NC data effectively, comprises software 4 stored in a main memory 3, a graphic defining command 4a, a plate setting command 4b, a component data base registering command 4c, a component mounting command 4d, a plate separating command 4e and an NC data generating command 4f. In accomplishing its goal, the CAD device makes each command available for the molding piece as well as the plates.
