摘要： A web offset press includes several printing units through which a web passes essentially in a horizontal direction. The printed web then passes to at least one first folding unit. Each of the printing units has at least one plate cylinder and one transfer cylinder which interacts with the web being printed. An effective plate width of the plate cylinder corresponds to the print image of at least eight upright or prone printed pages in a BIN 4A format. The printed web is slit longitudinally into a plurality of web strands: A first number of these web strands are supplied to the first folding apparatus. At the same time, a second number of web strands, produced by the slitting of the same web, are supplied to a second folding apparatus for further processing.

摘要： A plurality of printing blocks are placed on a plate cylinder of a printing machine. Each of these printing blocks is located at one of a plurality of mounting locations which are located adjacent each other in an axial direction of the plate cylinder. Each of these printing blocks is stored in a storage device which includes storage positions that are located adjacent to, and offset from each other at a fixed distance in the axial direction of the plate cylinder, prior to the arrangement of the printing blocks at one of the mounting locations of the plate cylinder. The plate cylinder and/or the storage device are displaced axially relative to each other by the operation of a positioning device. That displacement arranges a printing block to be arranged on the plate cylinder at a mounting location which is situated adjacent the mounting location of another printing block, which is already located there or what is still to be located there, at a distance which is reduced relative to a distance between two adjacent storage positions of the storage device.

摘要： Devices are used for fixing or attaching at least one packing or dressing to a cylinder. A retaining element is located in a channel in the cylinder and retains one end of the dressing or packing. A spring element is also located in the channel and cooperates with the retaining element to exert a required clamping force on the end of the packing or dressing. The retaining element is pivotably supported in the base of the channel and is fixed in the base, while in its clamping portion, by the spring element. This insures that the retaining element will not be inadvertently unclamped from the channel.

The cylinder is provided with an axially extending channel. The leading end of the packing is bent at an acute angle and can fit into a nose configurement between the channel wall and the cylinder's peripheral surface. A securement element, that has a one-armed lever, is located in the channel and secures the trailing end by clamping it using a spring force. The channel has only one securing device in the peripheral direction.

摘要： At least one dressing, such as a printing forme, is secured to the surface of a cylinder of a rotary printing press by securement devices. These securement devices are arranged in an axially extending channel on the surface of the cylinder. The channel is defined by at least one wall and by an opening directed toward the circumferential surface of the cylinder. At least one wall of the opening extends into the channel at an acute angle with respect to the cylinder circumferential surface. A deflection-resistant retaining device, provided with a first end and with a second end, is pivotably mounted in the channel. The first end holds an angled end of the dressing that is introduced into the channel opening. This first end is disposed remote from a bearing and pivoting point of the retaining device. A dimensionally stable bow, which has a portion that engages the wall of the opening that extends toward the channel at an acute angle, is situated in the channel.
