Printing ink provided by multiple different plate cylinders and inking units are each collected on printing blankets arranged one after another on the circumference of the segment wheel. The plate cylinders and inking units involved in the printing are arranged and set in such a way that, when printing on the hollow body, an iris print is, or at least can be implemented.

摘要： Techniques are disclosed for connecting a printing plate to a print cylinder or surface. The techniques may be implemented, for instance, with respect to a printing plate, a print cylinder, a print sleeve, or some combination thereof. In an embodiment, a field of mechanical fasteners is provisioned on a printing plate, and a complementary field of mechanical fasteners is provisioned on a print sleeve or cylinder. The mechanical fasteners collectively operate to provide a mechanical bond or interface that inhibits lateral and rotational movement of the plate during printing operations, and can also be configured to manage backlash between engaging surfaces of the interface. In some cases, backlash management includes use of cushion effect integral with the mechanical bond itself and/or unidirectional and possibly angled fastener elements to provide a snugging effect. The mechanical bond may be implemented with hook-and-loop, hook-and-hook, hook-to-channel, male/female-type fittings, vacuum, suction, and/or magnetics.

摘要： An offset blanket for a grooveless blanket cylinder for applying a printed image onto web material or sheet material is composed of a carrier plate which has been cut to size and a rubber layer placed on the carrier plate. The beginning and the end of the carrier plate of the rubber layer are connected to each other so that the outer circumferential surface of the blanket is continuous and without gaps. The blanket surrounds the blanket cylinder in the operating position in the form of a sleeve in a frictionally engaging manner but releasably. A register device is provided on at least one end face of the blanket for securely positioning the blanket on the blanket cylinder.

摘要： An apparatus for stretching a cylinder blanket on a sheet transfer cylinder of a sheet-fed printing press includes a tiltable member mounted on the cylinder. A first end of the blanket is first attached to the cylinder in a cylinder groove, the blanket is wrapped around the cylinder, and the second end of the blanket is attached to the tiltable member, while the tiltable member is in an open position. The tiltable member is then closed to stretch the blanket about the cylinder, and locked into the closed position to maintain the blanket about the cylinder.
