    Abstract: Provided is a robot. The robot includes a main body which is provided with a traveling wheel and in which an opening portion is defined in a top surface thereof, a seat configured to cover the opening portion at an upper side of the opening portion, an elevation mechanism disposed within the main body, the elevation mechanism being configured to elevate the seat with respect to the main body, and a gap cover configured to be elevated together with the seat, the gap cover being configured to cover a gap between the seat and the main body. The seat includes a seat base to which the gap cover is connected and which is inserted into the opening portion and a seat pad configured to cover the seat base at an upper side of the seat base, the seat pad being disposed above the main body.

    Abstract: A refrigerator equipped with a door that becomes transparent as necessary to make the interior thereof visible is disclosed. The refrigerator includes a cabinet having a storage compartment defined therein, a lighting device for illuminating the interior of the storage compartment, a door, which is hingedly coupled to the cabinet to open and close the storage compartment, and has an opening and a panel assembly including a front panel disposed on the front surface thereof, a sensor for detecting sound waves, which are generated by a knock input applied to the door and are transmitted through the front panel, and a controller for controlling the lighting device to allow light to be transmitted through the panel assembly, thus making the storage compartment visible from outside the door through the opening when a predetermined knock input is detected.

    Abstract: A vacuum cleaner includes a cleaner body, a suction hose mounted at a front surface of the cleaner body to suck in dust, moving wheels provided at both sides of the cleaner body, rotating to move the cleaner body and rotatably supporting the cleaner body, wheel motors connected to the moving wheels and rotating the moving wheels, a detecting unit provided in the cleaner body and sensing inclination of the cleaner body to determine whether the cleaner moves and stops, a plurality of detecting members provided at a front surface of the cleaner body and located at both sides of the suction hose to detect an obstacle, and a controller for controlling the wheel motors according to detected signals of the detecting unit and the obstacle detecting members.
