摘要: Method for mold clamping of the present invention is capable of shortening a molding cycle without any initial setting works for an engaging position of a tie bars. The method is constituted the steps of moving the tie bars in the direction of mold closing during mold close operation, judging a relative moving speed between a movable die plate and the tie bar to be within a predetermined value, engaging the tie bars with the movable die plate mechanically by operating an engaging means when the relative moving speed is judged to be within the value, then further moving the movable die plate against a fixed die plate under engagement, and after contact of a movable mold with a fixed mold driving a mold clamping cylinder, thereby executing mold clamping operation.

摘要: A movable die is held on the front face of a movable platen. Ejector pins are incorporated in the movable die. An ejector unit that is provided with an ejector plate, actuator rods, etc., is mounted on the back of the movable platen. In ejecting a molded product from a die face, the ejector plate is advanced to cause the actuator rods to push out the ejector pins. In the ejecting load monitoring method of the invention, a plurality of monitoring sections are provided in a movement area of the ejector plate (or the actuator rod), and an upper limit value of a forward thrust load of the ejector plate is previously set for each monitoring section. An alarm is issued when the forward thrust load of the ejector plate reaches the upper limit value set for any of the monitoring sections during the ejecting operation.

摘要: There is provided a molding machine controlling unit and method capable of preventing the operation of a molding machine from suddenly stopping due to the temperature of an electric motor. The control unit comprises: a calculating part 40 for analyzing molding condition data to generate a command value for producing a torque to the rotating shafts of electric motors 71 through 73 of an injection molding machine and to calculate an effective value on the basis of the command value; an entry part 30 for entering a reference value, which is to be compared with the effective value, and the molding condition data; a storing part 35 for storing the reference value and the molding condition data; a display part 50 for displaying the effective value and the reference value; and driving parts 61 through 63 for entering the command value to drive the rotating shafts of the electric motors, wherein the effective value and the reference value are displayed as a standard for preparing the molding condition data so that the effective value does not exceed the reference value.
