摘要: A method for operating manufacturing equipment including a heating furnace is provided. The method comprises the step of spraying a blowdown water that has been in the manufacturing equipment into effluent gas discharged from the heating furnace so as to vaporize the blowdown water and remove solid dust contained in the effluent gas. In a plant implementing this method, the amount of the effluent water can be reduced to substantially zero, no purification equipment is required, and solid sludge which has been produced in the purification equipment is thus completely reduced. Moreover, in this method, iron and zinc can be recycled as fly ash which can be easily treated and recycled.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for supplying a granular raw material for reduced iron in which when the granular raw material is fed into a hopper and from there supplied onto a hearth of a movable hearth furnace through a material supplying device, the material supplying device is moved vertically to thereby adjust the gap between the lower end of the material supplying device and the hearth. Thus, the amount of granular raw material supplied onto the hearth of the movable hearth furnace is adjustable. Further, granular raw material is dispersed in the hearth width direction over the entire surface of the hearth of the movable hearth furnace with minimal breakage or pulverization of the granular raw material for reduced iron and leveled by a spiral vane rotated on the downstream side, with respect to a hearth moving direction, of a material discharge outlet of the material supplying device.

摘要: A method for manufacturing reduced iron agglomerates comprises the steps of supplying iron oxide agglomerates including carbonaceous material on a moving hearth, heating and reducing the agglomerates to yield reduced iron agglomerates while the moving hearth moves in the reduction furnace, discharging the reduced iron agglomerates from the reduction furnace, recovering the reduced iron agglomerates, and removing seized hearth fragments separated from the moving hearth in close proximity to a discharge location or a recovery location for the reduced iron while the reduction furnace is being operated. According to the method, the reduction furnace can be operated for a long period of time without stopping the operation thereof and supply of the iron oxide agglomerates. Consequently, high productivity of the reduced iron agglomerates can be achieved, and in addition, superior quality in high degree of metallization of the reduced iron agglomerates can be obtained since the seized hearth fragments having low degree of metallization are not mixed with the reduced iron agglomerates as a product.

摘要: The present invention relates to a tubular blanket which comprises a main blanket section having at least a portion coming into contact with a printing-made web and a remaining blanket section other than the main blanket section. The remaining blanket section has a thickness thinner than the thickness of the main blanket section. Thus, even if inks or paper particles are attached to a web absent area on a circumferential surface of the tubular blanket, it is possible to eliminate the influence from the attachment of inks or paper particles, and to make the web cut-off hard to occur, so that the interference with the use of the tubular blanket is preventable, thereby enhancing the economy and the working efficiency.

摘要: The present invention is directed to providing a production method capable of producing carbon composite briquettes having sufficient strength without excessively reducing a production capacity, even using steel mill dust containing oil. This method comprises: adding at least a carbonaceous material and a binder to steel mill dust containing oil and mixing them to form a powdery mixture; compacting the powdery mixture by means of a pressure roll to produce briquettes; and recognizing an increase/decrease in an oil content of the powdery mixture to adjust a rotation speed of the pressure roll so as to lower the rotation speed along with an increase in the oil content.

In addition, in this process for producing molten iron, the carbon material is charged so as to form a carbon material suspension slag layer in which the carbon material is suspended at an upper layer portion of a slag layer which is formed of slag generated when the solid reduced iron on the molten iron layer is melted into molten iron and further so as to form a carbon material covering layer made of only the carbon material on the carbon material suspension slag layer, and the molten iron and the slag accumulated in the melting furnace are discharged through a taphole provided at a lower portion of a furnace side of the melting furnace.
