摘要： An RFID tag formed on an original includes a storage unit which stores data representing, e.g., the number of times of scan of the original and the generation from a parent original, and a transmitter/receiver which transmits and receives the data by radio. A read/write circuit receives data from an RFID tag of an original by radio. On the basis of the received data, read of the original is controlled. While the original is being read, the received data is edited in accordance with the control. The read/write circuit transmits and writes the edited data in the RFID tag.

摘要： A control apparatus used in an image forming apparatus has a CPU board (100) and a relay board having I/Fs (311-314) and a CPU (301). The I/Fs are connectable with driver boards (5001-5004), and have common standards. The CPU detects each connection state of the driver boards to the I/Fs, decides an ID for the relay board according to the connection state, and performs consistency control to secure consistency of control between the driver boards, based on the ID for the relay board. The CPU board is communicatably connected to the relay board. The CPU board obtains the ID for the relay board 300, and performs control according to the ID for the relay board.

摘要： A sheet processing apparatus which is capable of securing a sufficient sheet bundle processing time period even with a short sheet conveying path to thereby maintain required capability of processing sheets conveyed at constant intervals. Rollers that convey sheets are controlled such that the conveyance speed of a sheet being conveyed by the rollers is increased in first timing so as to set the sheet at an increased distance from a succeeding sheet being conveyed by the rollers. When a sheet preceding the sheet being conveyed is the last sheet of a set of sheets to be processed by the sheet processing apparatus, the rollers are controlled to increase the conveyance speed of the sheet being conveyed in second timing later than the first timing.

摘要： A sheet processing apparatus which can be reduced in size and suppress cost increase by preventing sheet buckling and jamming. Sheets stacked on an insert tray of a sheet processing apparatus are fed on a conveying path in a first sheet feed mode in which sheets are fed after being inverted by an inversion path or a second sheet feed mode in which sheets are fed without passing through the inversion path. A pair of conveying rollers conveys the fed sheets and the sheets with images formed thereon. The conveyed sheets are stacked on a processing tray, and a stapler performs predetermined processing on the stacked sheets. It is determined whether predetermined information is included in sheet information about the sheets stacked on the insert tray, and if the predetermined information is included in the set sheet information, a predetermined message is displayed on a display panel.
