    Abstract: A system is disclosed in which a user equipment (UE) performs small data transmissions in Radio Resource Control (RRC) Inactive state. The UE receives information configuring small data transmissions via a control-plane, and when there is uplink data to be sent as a small data transmission, the UE generates and transmits an RRC message comprising said small data transmission using a Signalling Radio Bearer (SRB) provided via a Common Control Channel (CCCH).

    Abstract: A master node (MN) (1) controls the MN (1) to enable, for a radio terminal (3), dual connectivity using a Master Cell Group (MCG) provided by the MN (1) and a Secondary Cell Group (SCG) provided by a secondary node (SN) (2). The MN (1) sends to the SN (2) a first message related to a modification or release of a configuration or resource in the SN (2) regarding the dual connectivity. The first message explicitly or implicitly indicates that the modification or release is related to a failure of the MCG or recovery from the failure of the MCG. This, for example, allows the SN to distinguish a message regarding modification or release of an SN configuration (or resource) sent from an MN to the SN for recovery from an MCG failure from other messages.

    Abstract: A radio network (6) and a radio terminal (4) are configured to, when the radio terminal (4) is using a first cell (10) served by a first radio station (1) as a primary cell and a second cell (20) served by a second radio station (2) as a secondary cell, change the primary cell from the first cell (10) to a third cell (30) served by a third radio station (3) while keeping communication status information regarding the radio terminal (1) on the second cell (20). It is thus, for example, possible to enable a communication service in the secondary cell to be continued even after the primary cell is changed when the primary cell is changed during execution of carrier aggregation (e.g., Inter-eNB CA) on a plurality of cells served by different radio stations.

    Abstract: A first base station (1) is configured to establish a first signaling bearer with a mobility management apparatus (5), establish a second signaling bearer with a second base station (2), and to establish a signaling radio bearer with a mobile station (3) in a first cell (10). The second base station (2) is configured to establish the second signaling bearer with the first base station (1), establish a data bearer with a data transfer apparatus (6), and to establish a data radio bearer with the mobile station (3) in a second cell (20). Furthermore, the first base station (1) is configured to transmit, to the second base station (2) through the second signaling bearer configuration information, necessary to establish the data bearer and the data radio bearer in the second base station (2). Thus, for example, bearer architecture suitable for a C/U plane split scenario is provided.
