    Abstract: A covering of a building opening includes a rail, a first sash having a guiding slot, a second sash hinged with the first sash and having a center of rotation at an end thereof, a pulley assembly, and a restricting assembly. The pulley assembly is movably received in the rail and has a rod. The rod has a protrusion section extending out of the rail, and the protrusion section enters and leaves the guiding slot while the pulley assembly is moving. The restricting assembly has a moving member and a locking base. The moving member is provided on one of the first sash and the second sash, and the locking base is provided on the other. The moving member is moved by the rod and engages the locking base when the rod leaves the guiding slot.

    Abstract: A window includes a frame, a rail module, and two sashes. The rail module includes a first rail, a second rail, and a pulley assembly. The first rail is fixed to the frame, and the second rail is able to turn. The second rail is turned to connect to the first rail so that the pulley assembly can slide in both the first and the second rails. The first sash is pivoted on the frame, and the second sash is hinged with the first sash and connected to the pulley assembly. The pulley assembly is moved to the second rail from the first rail to make the sashes fold up. After the second sash arrives at the second rail, one may turn the folded sashes totally off the window and attach them to a wall besides the window.

    Abstract: A cord retractor for a window covering comprises a housing and a driving wheel, a reeling wheel, a spring, a friction member and a unidirectional transmission mechanism. The driving wheel and the reeling wheel can rotate with each other. The spring is coupled with the driving wheel and is wound on or unwound from the driving wheel according to a rotating direction of the driving wheel. The friction member is in a closed loop shape and surrounding a shaft of the housing. The unidirectional transmission mechanism is coupled with the friction member and the reeling wheel, and operated in different operation modes according to a rotating direction of the reeling wheel, by which the friction member provides constant resistance to the rotation of the reeling wheel when the reeling wheel rotates in a first direction, and stops providing resistance when the reeling wheel rotates in a second direction.

    Abstract: A cordless window covering includes a first rail, a second rail, a covering body, two pulling cords, and a cord-retracting device including a first casing and an adjusting member movably disposed on the first casing. When relative motion of the first rail and the second rail occurs, the covering body is extended or retracted, and the two pulling cords apply a first force and a second force in opposite directions to the adjusting member respectively. When the first force does not equal to the second force, the user can exert slight force on the second rail to move the adjusting member towards a side with greater force, making one of the pulling cords applying greater force to the adjusting member have its length between the first rail and the second rail elongate as the adjusting member moves, such that the non-horizontal state of the second rail can be easily corrected.

    Abstract: A damping device of a window covering is provided, including a headrail, a covering material, and a driving device, wherein the driving device is located in the headrail to raise and extend the covering material. The damping device is provided in the headrail, and includes a metal member and a magnetic member, wherein at least a magnetic pole of the magnetic member faces the metal member. The metal member is located within a magnetic field of the magnetic member. Either one or both the metal member and the magnetic member is drivable by the driving device to make the metal member and the magnetic member move relative to each other. Whereby, the damping device is able to provide a desired damping effect at different temperature or after a long period use, such that the rotation of the metal member and the movement of the covering material are slowed down.

    Abstract: A resistance device includes a base having a channel, a friction member provided in the base, and a moving member adjacent to the friction member, wherein the moving member is located in the channel and is movable therein. A window covering applied with the resistance device includes a covering material and a lifting cord concurrently movable with the covering material. When the covering material is being retracted or extended, the lifting cord moves in two opposite directions, respectively. The lifting cord passes through the resistance device. When the lifting cord moves in either direction, it drives the moving member to move in the same direction as itself. The friction member provides different resistances to the lifting cord which moves in different directions.

    Abstract: A top-down bottom-up window covering has a headrail, a middle rail, a bottom rail, a lifting control structure installed at the headrail, and a covering structure installed between the middle rail and the bottom rail. The lifting control structure controls a first rotating shaft and a second rotating shaft to respectively receive or release a first cord and a second cord. The first cord drives the middle rail to move, and the second cord drives the bottom rail to move. A one-way clutch and a pre-stress unit are further provided at the headrail. When the bottom rail pushes the middle rail to move upward, the one-way clutch breaks a link between the first rotating shaft and the lifting control structure. Consequently, a driving force generated by the pre-stress unit immediately drives the first rotating shaft to receive the first cord to keep the first cord taut.

    Abstract: A position-fixing system includes a pole, a guiding member adjacent to the pole, and a movable member fitting around the pole. The pole is immovable relative to a window covering. The guiding member includes a principal axis parallel to an extension axis of the pole, and includes a retaining face substantially extending in the direction of the principal axis, but non-coplanar with it. The movable member corresponds to the retaining face. The movements of the movable member and the guiding member are related to that of a shaft of the window covering. When the window covering is being operated, the movable member is driven to rotate around the pole, and moves along the pole and the guiding member. Due to the retaining face, the movable member keeps contacting the pole to create a friction therebetween. Therefore, the position of a covering material of the window covering can be precisely fixed.

    Abstract: A spring box, which can be used in a window covering, includes a prestressing device, a cord reel, and a cord-guiding shaft provided on a horizontal plane of a base. The prestressing device provides a force to the cord reel to rotate the cord reel and wind up a lift cord, wherein the lift cord contacts and goes around the cord-guiding shaft before being connected to the covering material of the window covering. By providing the cord-guiding shaft at a predetermined tilt orientation and tilt angle, the lift cord can be properly guided and the movement thereof can be restrained. In this way, during the process of winding up, the lift cord can be prevented from having its cord loops overlapping or tangling with each other.
