    摘要： In a structure including rotary gears spaced apart from each other in a radial direction, and chains which are placed to face each other, engage individually with the respective rotary gears and move in an interlocking manner, have flexible chain sections and flexure preventing sections which project from the chain sections and come into engagement with each other at a point located on one end side with respect to an engaged portion where the chains engage with the rotary gears, and are attached at their one ends to a sliding body such as a window glass, the flexure preventing sections are brought into engagement with each other to prevent the chains from flexing in separating directions and join them together to make one end side of the chains a non-flexible portion in the form of an angular bar.

    摘要： In a power-assisted chain drive actuator for opening and closing gating fixtures, a drive chain has successive links formed of pairs of plates being parallel and swivel connected to each other by crosswise studs having an increased middle diameter holding the plates apart; the chain is also provided with members for limiting the relative angular displacement of adjacent links in the chain; between the middle increased diameters there engage the teeth of a drive sprocket; the limiting members prevent the chain from becoming deflected in the direction of its remote side from the drive sprocket past a position of substantially straight alignment of the links and take up the bending couples on the chain on application of a push force to a fixture leaf.

    摘要： The present invention discloses an improved chain assembly and a method for making the same. In general, the method of making a chain assembly in accordance with the present invention, comprises forming a plurality of links having a preselected shape and placement of apertures therein. A plurality of wire blanks are formed having an outer diameter to permit insertion into the apertures of the links. Such link is retained in a fixed position and a wire blank is inserted into each aperture of the link. On one end of each wire blank, a head is formed having a diameter larger than the aperture into which the wire blank is inserted. A mating link is placed into engagement with each link containing wire blanks with the end of each blank inserted in one aperture of the mating link in a manner to form a chain assembly. On the other end of each wire blank, a head is formed to complete interlocking of the links and blanks in forming the chain assembly.

    摘要： A device for opening a back door of an automotive vehicle which can be operated by an operator's foot. A foot pedal is located at a rear and lower portion of the automotive vehicle in an accessible position. The foot pedal is connected by actuating means to lifting means for lifting the back door in such a manner that the back door can rotate around the upper edge thereof to be opened. A door-lock release device is actuated in response to operation of the lifting means to release the lock of a locking device. The actuating means includes means for disconnecting the linkage between the lifting means and the foot pedal so that operation of the foot pedal cannot be transmitted to the actuating means.
