Abstract:
An electrical connector assembly for establishing electrical connection between an Integrated Package (IC) and a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) is provided. The electrical connector assembly comprises an insulative housing, a plurality of contacts received in the insulative housing, a PCB adapted to have the insulative housing mounted thereon and a metal reinforcement element disposed on a lower surface of the housing and soldered to the PCB. By way abovementioned, a back plate may be canceled and space under the PCB is saved under a condition that steady mechanical connection between the PCB and the housing is achieved.
Abstract:
A socket, for electrically connecting an IC package with gaps on two sides thereof and a printed circuit board, comprises an insulative housing, a plurality of contacts received in the insulative housing and a pair of engaging clumps. The insulative housing has a bottom wall and a plurality of sidewalls upwardly extending from the bottom wall, the sidewalls and the bottom wall together define a space for the IC package, two opposed sidewall further have engaging slots. The engaging clump is received in the engaging slot, and has a post entering into the space to engaging with the gap of the IC package and a transverse arm abutting against and position the IC package.
Abstract:
An electrical connector comprises an insulative housing (1) comprising a bottom wall (11) and a locking member (131) extending downwardly from the bottom wall (11), a plurality of contacts (4) received in the insulative housing (1) and a fastening device (3) locked with the insulative housing (1) for fastening the electronic package (2) on the insulative housing (1). Thus even if exert an upwardly force on the electronic package (2), the electronic package (2) can also securely located on the insulative housing (1).
Abstract:
An electrical connector includes a socket body with a number of contacts, a retention frame spaced from the socket body, a load plate attached to the retention frame, and a fastener. The retention frame located at a first side of the socket body and the load plate attached to at a second side of the socket body. The load plate rotates toward or away from the socket body from an open position to a closed position. The fastener is used to fasten the load plate at the closed position.
Abstract:
A clip comprises two pieces of load plates. Each load plate has a pressing portion extending downwardly in a middle position thereof and two retention portions at two ends thereof, the two pieces of load plates across dispose when the load plates are secured.
