A leading distal end of the flexible hollow tube body (1) is formed into a knife-edge circle configuration to provide a knife-edge circle front (3), thus imparting a perforative capability to improve its quality and performance.

    摘要: A medicinal liquid injection catheter includes a flexible main body, a needle-like tubular member, a medicinal liquid supply device, and a balloon. The tubular member is inserted in the main body and an end portion of the tubular member projects from a side hole provided in the main body. The medicinal liquid supply device accommodates a medicinal liquid, and is connected to the tubular member to supply the medicinal liquid through the tubular member. The balloon is attached to an outer portion of the main body and the balloon is expansible in substantially the same direction as a direction in which the portion of the tubular member projects. The medicinal liquid injection catheter additionally includes first and second guide wires. The second guide wire projects from the main body in a direction which intersects a direction in which the first guide wire projects from the main body.

A jig arm 7A sandwiches an array of metallic mold bodies 2 and the side plate 63 to serve as a securement member 7. Upon manufacturing the guide wire 9 well-suited to the medical field, the heat mold device 1 renders it possible to make a high quality guide wire with a high productivity.

    摘要: In a medical guide wire 1, a helical spring 3 has a radiopaque portion defined on a front helical spring tube 31 of the helical spring 3. An elongation core 2 has a thinned portion at a distal end portion 21 and a thickened portion at a proximal end portion 22, and the distal end portion 21 of the elongation core 2 is placed within the helical spring 3, both the distal end portions of the helical spring 3 and the elongation core 2 are firmly fixed so that an outer surface of the helical spring 3 is covered by a synthetic coat 4. A flotage chamber 5 is provided in the radiopaque portion of the helical spring 3 to give a buoyancy to a distal end portion 12 which is liable to hang by its weight upon manipulating the guide wire 1 in the blood streams.

    摘要: In a medical guide wire 1, a rear half of a leading bulge portion (ellipsoidal helical spring) 5 forms a truncated cone shaped front catheter engagement portion 8. An inner wall of a balloon catheter 2 forms a flared end portion 2A which absorbably fits into the front catheter engagement portion 8 due to the physical adhesion so to provisionally connect the balloon catheter 2 to the front catheter engagement portion 8. The medical guide wire 1 and the balloon catheter 2 are inserted into the blood vessel with one single step procedure when the medical guide wire 1 is introduced into the blood vessel to place the balloon portion 10 at the stricture blood vessel area (P).
