    摘要： An artificial femoral ball head having a multilayer shell-core composite structure includes a spherical shell layer, a transition layer and an inner core. The inner core is made of a toughened ceramic, the spherical shell layer is made of a ceramic material, and the transition layer is made of a composite material comprising materials of the inner core and the spherical shell layer. The artificial femoral ball head is manufactured through sintering a green body of successively stacked layers of the spherical shell layer, the transition layer and the inner core, and the green body of successively stacked layers is obtained through a powder co-injection molding process. The spherical shell layer of the artificial femoral head has a high rigidness, corrosion-proof and wear-proof performance. The inner core of the artificial femoral head has a high toughness and shockresistant performance.

    摘要： A bar code scanning device, system and method that utilizes one or more vertical cavity surface emitting laser diodes for producing at least one laser beam, where the vertical cavity surface emitting laser diodes are disposed on a substrate, and wherein the produced laser beam is substantially an essential single spatial mode laser beam. The bar code scanning device, system and method of present invention also comprise a photodiode attached to the substrate and arranged to receive at least a portion of the beam of light reflected off the scanned bar code or symbol.

    摘要： A hand-held optical reader for reading printed indicia on a remote target includes a light source for generating a scanning light beam and a detector for detecting the light reflected from the printed indicia. The light source and detector are housed within a housing having a window through which the light beam passes from the source to the target for reflection from the target to the detector. The housing includes parallel front and rear faces, each being generally rectangular in shape and having a lower portion and upper portion. The front and rear faces are joined by a substantially planar base face at their lower edges. The window is disposed in the front face with the reader being ergonomically configured so as be comfortably held in the hand of a user, with the user's palm adjacent the rear face to enable the user to direct the scanning light beam at a remote target.
