摘要： A coin transporting and stacking mechanism transports coins between two endless belts which form a coin transporting channel. The coins are gripped on diametrically opposed edges by the counter-rotating belts, and securely held as they travel towards the coin ejecting end of the channel. The coin ejecting end moves vertically to stack ejected coins one on top of the other to form a coin stack suitable for automatic wrapping. The mechanism is capable of transporting and stacking coins in a relatively small space due the movable, flexible transporting channel. Moreover, the mechanism requires fewer parts than conventional coin transporting and stacking systems to enhance reliability.

摘要： A coin sorting and counting system which comprises a rotatable disc having resilient surface for receiving mixed denomination coins and imparting rotational movement to the coins; a drive motor for rotating the disc; a stationary sorting head having a contoured surface spaced slightly away from and generally parallel to the resilient surface of the rotatable disc, the sorting head including an outwardly spiralling channel for queuing the coins on the disc into a single file of coins, and a guiding edge which engages selected edges of the coins in the single file and guides the coins along a prescribed path where the positions of the non-engaged edges of the coins are determined by the diameters of the respective coins; a counting station along the prescribed path for separately counting each coin denomination before the coins are sorted; and a sorting station spaced circumferentially from the counting station, in the direction of coin movement, for discriminating among coins of different denominations and selecting coins of different denominations for discharge from the rotating disc at different locations around the periphery of the sorting head.

In some embodiment, a wagering game machine includes a wagering game controller configured to present wagering games upon which monetary value can be wagered. The wagering game machine can also include a button panel that includes a first printed circuit board (PCB) connected to an electrical ground and a second PCB connected to the first PCB by a conductive connector. The button panel can also include a display device connected to the second PCB, an actuator connected to the second PCB, a cap in contact with the actuator, wherein the display device is visible through the cap, and a bezel to retain the cap, where the bezel is coupled to a panel.

摘要： An embodiment of a gaming machine has a primary game display operable to display the outcome of a game, and a secondary display overlaying the primary game display. The secondary display may have a stand alone transmissive LCD display and at least one backlight assembly, the backlight assembly spaced apart from the transmissive LCD display and located between the transmissive LCD display and the primary game display. With the backlight assembly spaced apart from the transmissive LCD display, the backlight assembly may be removed from or inserted into the gaming machine. This permits different games to be installed in the gaming machine during manufacture or as a retrofit.

摘要： A method and system of operating a wagering game having simulated mechanical reels includes receiving a wager to play the wagering game. A first set of video images are displayed on a curved surface approximately a radius of curvature of a mechanical reel. The first set of video images simulates movement of a first set of reel symbols. In response to a triggering event, a second set of video images are displayed on the curved surface. The second set of video images simulate a transitioning from the first set of reel symbols to a second set of reel symbols.

摘要： A gaming machine for playing a wagering game includes a housing having a display region, a curved transparent layer located in the display region, and a video display. The video display is located behind the transparent layer for projecting moving images onto the transparent layer. The images including a plurality of symbols that indicate a randomly selected outcome of the wagering game. The curved transparent layer can be moving as well. Environmental mapping may be used to sense the location of the player and/or the ambient lighting surrounding the gaming machine and alter the images based on the sensing. The altering may include spectral highlights, shading, and the parallax effect. The video images may further include imperfections normally found in mechanical reel strips. The gaming machine provides video images that more closely simulate the look of traditional mechanical reels.

The liquid crystal display has at leas tone transparent portion through which the mechanical reel or reels can be observed. An organic light emitting diode (OLED) element is disposed near the transparent portion of the liquid crystal display, and is operable to selectively emit light or pass light, such that emitted light is passed through the transparent portion of the liquid crystal display when the OLED emits light or the at least one mechanical game object can be observed through the transparent portion of the liquid crystal display and the OLED when the OLED passes light.
