    Abstract: A method to support two scenarios in trusted wireless local area network (WLAN) access is provided herein. The method may be performed, for example, by a user equipment (UE). The method generally includes requesting a nonseamless wireless offload (NSWO) connection to a network during an extensible authentication protocol (EAP) procedure and receiving, after successful authentication, at least one of an internet protocol (IP) address or a reason code from a network entity indicating NSWO is not allowed.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Specifically, techniques for performing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-to-everything (U2X) registration procedures and well as techniques for updating U2X subscription data within the network are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit, as part of a registration procedure between the UE and a network, capability signaling indicating a UAV-related category associated with the UE and a capability for the UE to perform sidelink communications to support UAV services. The UE may receive, as part of the registration procedure and based on the capability signaling, a registration acceptance message in accordance with a subscription associated with the UE. The UE may then communicate a sidelink message associated with the UAV services in accordance with the capability to support the UAV services and the subscription associated with the UE.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) associated with an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in a cellular terrestrial network may establish a connection with a unified data management (UDM) entity for communications with an unmanned aerial system service supplier (USS). The UE, or an access and mobility management function (AMF), may receive a security configuration from the UDM entity in a non-access stratum transport message. The security configuration may include one or more security credentials that enable communications between the UE and the USS. The AMF may transmit an acknowledgement message indicating the UE successfully received the indication of the security configuration. The UDM may transmit a message to the USS based on receiving the acknowledgment message. The UE may transmit a registration request to the USS. The UE and the USS may communicate according to the security credentials of the security configuration.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless network may receive a message from a wireless device that is coupled with an aerial vehicle. The message may include a network identifier, an aerial identifier, and operational information for the aerial vehicle. The wireless network may send a message to an aerial function management system requesting that the aerial function management system authenticate an identity of the aerial vehicle. The wireless network may also request that the aerial function management system approve a flight path for the aerial vehicle. The wireless network may establish a data session with the wireless device based on an authentication of the aerial vehicle and an approval of the flight path.

    Abstract: One aspect relates to initiating, by a device, a connection with an application server associated with one or more application services. A gateway derives an uplink network token and/or a downlink network token. The tokens are provisioned to the device and/or an application server over the user-plane. The tokens are included with uplink and/or downlink packets, respectively. Another aspect relates to receiving a data packet at gateway. The gateway determines a requirement for a network token from the packet. The gateway derives the network token based on a device subscription profile maintained by a network. The network token may be sent with the packet to a destination address associated with the packet. A packet including a network token may be received at a gateway. The gateway may verify the network token and send the data packet to an application server or a device if the verifying is successful.
