Abstract: Various embodiments include systems and methods for supporting communication session establishment (e.g., Web Real-Time Communication (WebRTC) session establishment) between endpoint computing devices. Various embodiments include systems and methods that may provide for a server (e.g., a Simple WebRTC Application Protocol (SWAP) server acting as a WebRTC signaling server) that protects message privacy and integrity between endpoint computing devices by acting as a rendezvous point for applications and services. Various embodiments include systems and methods defining a simple, secure, and extensible signaling protocol that may allow a receiving party to determine and control other parties that may connect to the receiving party via communication session (e.g., a WebRTC session).

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for random access. A method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) includes determining a first timing advance (TA) for transmitting a random access channel (RACH) preamble. The method includes determining a second TA, different than the first TA, for transmitting the RACH preamble. The method includes transmitting the RACH preamble using the second TA. The method includes receiving a random access response (RAR) message including a timing advance command (TAC) and determining whether the RAR is intended for the UE based on the TAC, the first TA, and the second TA. The method includes transmitting a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission based on a determination that the RAR is intended for the UE.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may obtain an indication that a difference between a previous timing advance value that is based at least in part on a current satellite location and a previous combination of a UE location and a timing advance parameter, and a current timing advance value that is based at least in part on the current satellite location and a current combination of the UE location and the timing advance parameter, is greater than a threshold. The UE may generate an adjusted timing advance value that is different from the current timing advance value by an amount that is less than the threshold. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Various embodiments may include methods and systems for improving Quality of Service (QoS) in an end-to-end network connection including a first communication network and a second communication network. A method may include determining, by a network element within the end-to-end network connection, a QoS requirement of the end-to-end network connection, obtaining, by the network element, QoS information of the second communication network from a reporting entity within the second communication network, and adjusting, by the network element, a QoS parameter of the first communication network based on the determined QoS requirement and the obtained QoS information.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a network node may transmit, and a user equipment (UE) may receive, signaling indicating one or more common timing offset parameters that are based at least in part on one or more delays between a satellite and a reference point in a non-terrestrial network (NTN). The UE may determine a transmit time for an uplink signal based at least in part on the one or more common timing offset parameters and a starting time associated with an uplink slot in which the uplink signal is to arrive at the reference point. The UE may transmit the uplink signal at the transmit time. Numerous other aspects are described.
