An example method for wireless communication at a UE includes receiving, before performing an RRC configuration procedure or an RRC reconfiguration procedure, a first communication scheduling a first data transmission with associated feedback. The first communication may include first information associated with the first data transmission and a first redundancy version indicator (rv Index). The example method also includes attempting to receive the first data transmission based on the first information. The example method also includes transmitting, based on the first rv Index, a first quantity of repetitions of first data feedback for the first data transmission.

For example, the PUCCH may carry a HARQ ACK for Message 4 or Message B. An apparatus such as a user equipment (UE) receives an indication that a cell supports an enhanced physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) frequency hopping pattern for PUCCH with repetition prior to dedicated PUCCH resource configuration. The UE indicates at least one of a capability or a request of the UE for the enhanced PUCCH frequency hopping pattern. The UE receives downlink control signaling that indicates whether the enhanced PUCCH frequency hopping pattern is configured. The UE transmits a PUCCH with repetition and frequency hopping based on whether the enhanced PUCCH frequency hopping pattern is configured.

摘要: Aspects are provided for repeating a configuration for a transmission after contention resolution in an early contention resolution. An apparatus may be configured to obtain a configuration indicating a number of repetitions for a PUCCH transmission for a PDSCH prior to activation of a dedicated PUCCH resource configuration. The PUCCH transmission may include a HARQ feedback message after receiving a contention resolution message carried in a prior PDSCH in a random access procedure. The apparatus may also be configured to transmit the HARQ feedback message for the PDSCH on a PUCCH according to the number of repetitions. The apparatus may further be configured to transmit a subsequent HARQ feedback message for the PDSCH on the PUCCH according to the number of repetitions for the HARQ feedback message for the PDSCH on the PUCCH. This allows coverage techniques to be applied to certain transmissions in order to improve coverage and reliability.

摘要: Aspects are provided for enhancing HARQ ACK for Message 4 or Message B. An apparatus may obtain a configuration indicating a number of repetitions for a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission in a plurality of slots prior to activation of a dedicated PUCCH resource configuration with a plurality of repetitions based on a radio resource control (RRC) message. The PUCCH transmission includes a Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) feedback message in response to receiving a message on a Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) in a random access procedure. The PUCCH transmission may then be transmitted on a PUCCH according to the number of repetitions. This allows coverage techniques to be applied to certain transmissions in order to improve coverage and reliability. In an aspect, the coverage enhancement techniques may include repetition of a transmission for coverage extension.

For example, then systems and techniques can include determining, at the network entity, a transmission timing compensation between a first reference signal and a second reference signal. The first reference signal can be transmitted using a first communication link. The second reference signal can be transmitted based on an offset determined based on the transmission timing compensation, wherein the second reference signal is transmitted suing a second communication link. The offset can be used to offset transmission of the second reference signal from transmission of the first reference signal.
