    Abstract: Systems and methods are described for storing an identification of a first pause point of a media asset associated with a first user interaction profile; storing an identification of a second pause point of the media asset associated with a second user interaction profile; receiving a request to access the media asset during a current consumption session; identifying user interface inputs received during the current consumption session; selecting one of the first pause point and the second pause point as a selected pause point based on determining whether the identified user interface inputs match user interface inputs associated with the first user interaction profile or the second user interaction profile; and generating for presentation the media asset starting from the selected pause point.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for searching, identifying, scoring, and providing access to companion media assets for a primary media asset are disclosed. In response to a request for companion content, metadata within a predefined time period of a play position when the request was made, is downloaded. A dynamic search template that contains search parameters based on the downloaded metadata is generated. In response to the search conducted using the search template, a plurality of companion media assets are identified and then verified. A trust score for the companion media asset is accessed. The trust score may be analyzed and modified based on its contextual relationship to the play position of the primary media asset. If the trust score is within a rating range, then a link to access the companion media asset, or a specific segment or play position within the companion media asset, is provided.

    Abstract: Methods and systems for dynamically navigating content are provided. Media content is generated for display on a user device. A selectable indicator for incrementally skipping through the media content is also generated. An input indicating selection of the selectable indicator is received and, in response to receiving the input indicating the selection of the selectable indicator, at least two selectable navigation settings are generated for display. Each navigation setting is associated with a navigation interval within the content. An input of the selection of the navigation setting and the navigation interval is received. The current play position of the media content item is shifted based on the selected navigation setting and the navigation interval.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for presenting an advertisement to a first participant of a plurality of participants of a conversation based on interests of other participants of the conversation. The conversation is monitored and a profile of the first participant is accessed. An interest category of a first interest term included in the profile is identified. A second interest term is identified from a portion of the conversation provided by a second participant of the plurality of participants. In response to determining that the second interest term is different from the first interest term and that the second interest term is in the identified interest category, an advertisement matching the second interest term is identified and generated for presentation on user equipment of the first participant.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for displaying personalized preview images during trick-play operations of a media asset based on user profile data and an importance of frames of the media asset. A request from a user to move a slider of a progress bar associated with a media asset is received while the media asset is being generated for display. A scene from the media asset that contains a play position indicated by the slider is identified and a frame that best matches user profile data of the user and importance data for the scene is identified.     Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for relocating an overlay overlapping information in content. The systems and methods may comprise receiving a content item, the content item comprising a video image, and determining a first screen position of an information box (e.g., a score box) in the video image. Determining may be performed with image analysis and/or a machine learning model. The system receives an overlay image (e.g., a channel logo) with a second screen position and determines if the second screen position (e.g., for the logo) overlaps the first screen position (e.g., for the score). In response to determining the second screen position (e.g., of the logo) overlaps the first screen position (e.g., the score), the system modifies the second screen position (e.g., for the logo). Then the system generates for display the overlay image on the video in the modified screen position. The system may not relocate the overlay if the overlay is a high priority.
