In this signaling sequence, the UMAN may be identified in various manners, such as by means of an otherwise unassigned pilot PN offset or by means of a band class and an invalid frequency.

Furthermore, the method may comprise steps of decompressing (S50) from said compressed packet said outer header, and generating a routing packet, removing (S70) said outer header from said routing packet, and decompressing (S80) said inner header in said routing packet whereby said original packet is reconstructed.
