摘要: To provide a database which has plural log storage areas, and eliminates the sort in the restoration process by means of the application of logs, thereby carrying out the restoration quickly. A management server allocates DB servers to a corresponding one of plural data storage areas so as to access the corresponding one. The DB servers store data to the allocated data storage areas. When the data is referenced or updated, a log representing a data change history is stored in preset log areas for each data server. When the management server transmits a notification to change the data storage areas, area remapping logs are stored in log areas.

摘要: There is provided a hydrodynamic bearing device with which the lubricant is prevented from leaking to the outside, and good seal performance can be maintained, and a spindle motor equipped with this hydrodynamic bearing device. The hydrodynamic bearing device comprises a shaft, a sleeve, a lubricant that fills a microscopic gap, a radial bearing portion, a thrust beating portion, and a bearing seal portion. The value of a function P1/V1, where V1 is a fluctuation volume of the sleeve in the axial direction and P1 is a capillary pressure index at a vapor-liquid interface located near the opened end of the bearing seal portion, is at least a specific value.

摘要: There is provided a hydrodynamic bearing device that maintains high bearing angular stiffness, and that prevents oil film separation in the bearing by smoothly discharging any bubbles present inside the bearing. With a hydrodynamic bearing device, a communicating hole and a radial hydrodynamic groove constitute a circulation path for a lubricant, and a first thrust bearing surface is provided at a location in contact with the circulation path. A first hydrodynamic groove formed in the first thrust bearing surface is a spiral groove with a pump-in pattern. Any bubbles in the bearing are smoothly discharged by the circulation of the lubricant produced by the asymmetrical radial hydrodynamic groove. The pressure generated at the thrust bearing surface during rotation of the bearing has a distribution such that there is a wide range of high pressure.

摘要: A database management program in which even in a case where a row having a value of a column A duplicated is arranged in sequential space as an initial state for speeding-up a search with a condition of the column A, even if insertion, deletion and update of a row are repeated, a time required for the search with condition of the column A is not lengthen, and rearrangement requiring a long time in a case of solving this problem using a conventional method is not required. In the database management program, when managing a single or a plurality of sets of rows having values of the column A duplicated using relational database, in a case where the row having the value of the column A duplicated is arranged in the sequential space as the initial state for speeding-up the search with the condition of the column A, only the set of rows having the value of the column A duplicated is arranged in the sequential spaces when insertion, deletion and update of a row are performed.
