摘要: Provided is a thermal recording material comprising an intermediate layer and a heat-sensitive recording layer for color formation by heat stacked in this order onto a support, the thermal recording material being characterized in that the intermediate layer contains a bellows-shaped hollow resin and that the roughness of the surface on the color forming side is 1.0 μm or less as measured by Parker Print Surf. The method for producing such a thermal recording material comprises the steps of: applying a coating liquid containing heat-expandable resin particles to a support, drying the coated support at a temperature lower than the expansion starting temperature of the heat-expandable resin particle, and subjecting the coated support to thermoforming for formation of an intermediate layer; and applying, to the intermediate layer, heat-sensitive recording-related components which contribute to color formation by heat, for formation of a heat-sensitive recording layer.

摘要: In a thermally developable light-sensitive material comprising a support having therein or thereon at least one layer containing at least (a) an organic silver salt, (b) a light-sensitive silver halide or a component capable of forming a light-sensitive silver halide and (c) a reducing agent, the improvement wherein at least one layer provided on the support comprises, or the support is impregnated with, (d) at least one member selected from the group consisting of rosin of an acid value more than about 100, one or more diterpene acids or a mixture thereof in an amount sufficient to decrease heat fogging and to improve the storability of light-sensitive materials.

摘要: A heat-developable photosensitive material is disclosed having a high image sharpness. The material is comprised of a heat-developable photosensitive layer which includes an organic silver salt, a photocatalyst, and a reducing agent. An antihalation layer is provided on the opposite face of the material with respect to the side intended for imagewise exposure. The antihalation layer contains a photosensitive halogen-containing compound which reduces the pH of the antihalation layer by photolysis and is colored with a dye which causes a change of color when the pH of the antihalation layer is reduced.
