    摘要: An air-bag arrangement is disclosed which comprises an air-bag (21), an aperture (22) communicating with the interior of the air-bag (21), and a gas generator (23) to generate gas to inflate the air-bag (21). The gas generator (23) is mounted for pivotal movement about a pivot axis extending across the aperture (22) so that the gas generator (23) is pivotally moveable between a closed position in which at least part of the gas generator (23) extends across the aperture (22), to close the aperture (22), and an open position in which said aperture (22) is opened to permit the flow of gas from the air-bag (21).

    摘要: The invention provides a highly efficient technique for encoding a multi-channel audio signal. The invention relies on the basic principle of encoding a first signal representation of one or more of the multiple channels in a first encoder and encoding a second signal representation of one or more of the multiple channels in a second, multi-stage, encoder. This procedure is significantly enhanced by providing a controller for adaptively allocating a number of encoding bits among the different encoding stages of the second, multi-stage, encoder in dependence on multi-channel audio signal characteristics.

    摘要: A transceiver front-end for a communication device comprises a transmit frequency blocking arrangement and a receive frequency blocking arrangement. The receive frequency blocking arrangement has a blocking frequency interval associated with the receive frequency and a non-blocking frequency interval associated with the transmit frequency, and is configured to block passage of receive frequency signals between the signal transmission and reception arrangement and the transmitter. One of the frequency blocking arrangements comprises a network of passive components including at least one transformer and a filter arrangement with a higher impedance at the blocking frequency interval than at the non-blocking frequency interval.

    摘要: Efficient carrier aggregation is enabled in a receiver employing a single frequency source, and dividing the frequency source by different frequency dividing factors to generate two or more RF LO frequencies. Received signals are down-converted to intermediate frequencies by mixing with the respective RF LO frequencies. By utilizing only a single high frequency source, embodiments of the present invention avoid spurious and injection locking issues that arise when integrating two or more frequency sources, and additionally reduce power consumption as compared to a multiple frequency source solution.
