    Abstract: A system and method include an ultraviolet (UV) lamp including one or more UV light emitters coupled to electrodes. The UV light emitters are configured to emit UV light within an environment. A power source is coupled to the UV lamp. The power source is configured to supply power to the UV lamp. A pressure sensor is configured to detect an ambient air pressure within the environment. A temperature sensor is configured to detect an ambient air temperature within the environment. A control unit is configured to analyze air pressure data regarding the ambient air pressure and air temperature data regarding the ambient air temperature in relation to a breakdown voltage for the UV lamp. The control unit is further configured to modify at least one aspect of the UV lamp in response to the ambient air pressure and the ambient air temperature reaching a breakdown threshold that is less than the breakdown voltage.

    Abstract: A support panel assembly includes a lower panel, an upper panel pivotally coupled to the lower panel by a central pedestal, and a first pressure sensor located about a center of the support panel assembly, and coupled to the central pedestal. The first pressure sensor detects pressure exerted into the upper panel in response to the upper panel pivoting in relation to the lower panel about the central pedestal. The first pressure sensor outputs a pressure signal indicative of pressure exerted into the upper panel. In at least one embodiment, the pressure signal is received by a detecting control unit.

    Abstract: A sanitizing head includes a housing and multiple range light sources. The housing retains an ultraviolet (UV) lamp, and UV light emitted from the UV lamp exits through a front end of the housing. The range light sources are secured to the housing and arranged in one or more pairs. In one aspect, a UV light-emitting module comprises an enclosure including a rear wall and a face plate that includes a light-transmitting aperture.     Abstract: A system and method for sanitizing a target space include an ultraviolet (UV) lamp, an occupancy sensor, and a control unit operably connected to the occupancy sensor and the UV lamp. The UV lamp is configured to emit UV light into the target space. The occupancy sensor is configured to monitor the target space and generate sensor signals indicative of an occupancy of the target space by at least one person. The UV light array includes UV lamps configured to emit UV light to sanitize a surface of a component. The body includes a mobile base and multiple interconnected rigid members supported by the base.
