摘要： A tape cartridge includes a leader pin that is fixed to an end of a magnetic tape, a case main body that is composed of an upper case and a lower case, has a tape withdrawal opening through which the magnetic tape can be withdrawn formed in a side surface thereof, and has leader pin storage parts capable of respectively storing an upper end and a lower end of the leader pin formed in the upper case and the lower case in a vicinity of the tape withdrawal opening, and a spring member that is disposed in the case main body, regulates movement of the leader pin by having contact surfaces thereof contact or be near to side surfaces of both the end parts of the leader pin that are stored in the leader pin storage parts, and elastically deforms when the leader pin is withdrawn to stop regulating the movement. The contact surfaces of the spring member are curved towards central parts thereof so as to project towards the side surfaces.

摘要： A cartridge comprises a case consisting of upper and lower shells joined and containing a medium, a shutter which slides astride over one edge portion of the case to open or close a slot formed in the case to expose the medium partly, and a locking member which keeps the shutter in the closing position immovably. The locking member is normally, except when unlocked, exposed partly in a recess for the access of an unlocking member, so that a push of the exposed portion of the locking member disengages it from a projection formed on the inner side of the outer edge of the shutter. Confining structure is provided for confining the position of the exposed portion of the locking member always to the inside of the line extended from the end face of the shutter is provided between the exposed portion and the interior surface of the case.

摘要： A cleaning cassette capable of accomplishing a safe and positive cleaning operation while ensuring smooth and stable running of a cleaning tape. The cleaning cassette includes a tape passing mechanism arranged at a front portion of a casing for ensuring satisfactory traveling of the cleaning tape while reducing contact between the cleaning tape and a head cylinder of a cassette tape deck. The mechanism includes a pair of rollers through which the cleaning tape is passed, a support member for supporting each of the rollers at each of its respective ends such that each roller can rotate and a pair of partitions provided between insertion recesses of the casing. The support member on which the rollers are supported in a manner to be laterally spaced from each other is loosely fitted between the partitions so as to reciprocatively movable in a longitudinal direction of the casing or protrude from the casing and retract into the casing when loading and unloading of the cassette with respect to the cassette tape deck is carried out, respectively.

A brake is slidably mounted on the inner surface of the lower half of the case to prevent the reels from being rotated. Part of a spring is attached to the brake. The spring has free ends and urges the brake in a direction. A device for positioning the spring includes a partition wall on the inner surface of the lower half of the case which partitions the open space from the inside of the case. An independent abutment member on the partition wall abuts the free ends of the spring.
