Abstract:
The present invention intends to provide a simple process for preparing triarylamine dimer without using any expensive chemicals, the process being able to achieve high reaction yield and being advantageous to be carried out on an industrial scale. The present invention provides a process for preparing triarylamine dimer (I) using the Ullmann reaction represented by the scheme: wherein X represents a halogen atom, R1 and R2 represent independently a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group or a halogen atom, Ar represents a phenylene group, or a naphthylene group, characterized in that the reaction accelerator is polyethylene glycol or di- or monoalkyl ether of polyethylene glycol.
Abstract:
A process for preparing .chi.-form metal free phthalocyanine comprising: dry milling amorphous-like .alpha.-form metal free phthalocyanine to form .chi.-form metal free phthalocyanine partially; and wet milling or dispersing with stirring the resulting polymorph mixture in the presence of a cyclic organic solvent comprising an amide moiety. A simple process for preparing high-pure .chi.-form H2-Pc suitable as a charge generating meterial of an organic photoreceptor is provided, by improving the conventional technique for preparing .chi.-form H2-Pc.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a deodorizer consisting of the water-soluble metallophthalocyanine represented by the formula: ##STR1## wherein, "Met" is a central metal, X is an acidic group or alkali metal salt thereof, m and p are respectively an integer of from 1 to 15, and m+p is not more than 16. The deodorizer shows excellent deodorizing ability for an aldehyde-origin odor.
Abstract:
A signal compression system for efficient transmission of an input binary digital signal, in the form of a binary pulse signal, in which bit polarity reversal is checked after sampling for a predetermined number of bits of the sampled binary pulse signal. In a case of detection of any bit polarity reversal, the sampled binary pulse signal is sent out into a converted output pulse signal for the predetermined number of bits. In a case of non-detection of any polarity reversal, the number of bits or the number of bit blocks having no polarity reversal is coded as a coded pulse signal and sent out into the converted output pulse signal. A coded pulse signal is distinguished, the the converted output pulse signal, from the binary pulse signal by at least one flag bit.
Abstract:
A system for coding two-dimensional information of M lines and N columns, in which two-dimensional information of M lines and U columns is predetermined as a basic block. If any column information in the basic block has an information change with respect to column information immediately preceding it, information in the basic block is coded. If each column information in the basic block has no information change with respect to the column information immediately preceding it, information corresponding to the number of columns of the basic block and the number of subsequent columns having no information change is coded. Two-dimensional information obtained after the computation operation of a correlation function between an instant bit of information and an immediately preceding bit of information in at least either of the line direction and the column direction may be applied as the input of this system. If the entire information of one line does not include any information change with respect to the information immediately preceding it, the number of lines preceding a line including an information change may be coded before the above mentioned coding.
Abstract:
In a data reception processor (210a) in a session relaying apparatus (20-3), a data amount monitor (201) monitors the data amount within the session relaying apparatus (20-3), a receivable amount calculating unit (212) requires a data receivable amount which is informed from the session relaying apparatus (20-3) to a data transmission terminal (10) in a devaluating way according to a predetermined function, a receivable amount informing unit (213) informs the data transmission terminal (10) of the value, and in the data output processor (220a), an initialization judging unit (223) makes a judgment about initialization of the transmission amount, according to the amount resulting from the data monitor (201) monitoring the data amount within the session relaying apparatus (20-3), and a transmissive amount calculating unit (222) determines the data transmissive amount by using the result.
Abstract:
A novel subphthalocyanine derivative having a phosphorus derivative-substituted group as an axially substituted group which has an excellent solubility, a method for producing the same and an optical film containing the same, are provided without impairing excellent properties peculiar to the original subphthalocyanines. The novel subphthalocyanine derivative is represented by the following chemical formula (1), and it is applicable for optical films.
Abstract:
An inversion of a packet transmission sequence number is observed in a predetermined sampling measurement. The number of sampled sequence numbers greater than the sequence number upon the inversion is measured as an inversion degree. A number of packet losses or a loss ratio is estimated according to the inversion degree under the estimated full sampling measurement and the inversion degree observed under a predetermined sampling measurement.
Abstract:
A communication quality estimation system has: a plurality of equipments performing packet transmission on a network; and a communication quality estimation equipment. The plurality of equipments includes: a first equipment; a second equipment; and a third equipment placed downstream of the first equipment and upstream of the second equipment. The communication quality estimation equipment estimates communication quality in the third equipment by comparing a number of first packets satisfying a first sampling rule out of packets transmitted by the first equipment and a number of second packets satisfying the first sampling rule out of packets transmitted by the second equipment.
Abstract:
A triarylamine dimer derivative is represented by the following chemical formula [1] (in the chemical formula [1]: —Ar1, —Ar2, —Ar3 and —Ar4 are aryl groups being to have a substitutional group respectively, —R1 and —R2 are same or different to each other and one thereof is selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxyl group and a halogen atom; m and n are from 0 to 4; and with a proviso that —Ar1 and —Ar2, —Ar3 and —Ar4 are being to bind respectively to compose a cyclic structure group having a nitrogen atom) having an amorphous phase indicated by spectrum of powder X-ray diffractometry. The triarylamine dimer derivative is used for a charge transport material, an electrophotographic photosensitive conductor having thereof, an electroluminescence elemental device having a hole transport material thereof.
