A separation optical element on which the light beam is incident through the coupling optical system includes an opening through which a part of the light beam having a highest light intensity passes, and reflects other part of the light beam incident on a surrounding area of the opening as a monitoring light beam.     摘要: An image reading apparatus includes a plurality of light sources to illuminate a document; an illumination optical system to guide light to a reading target area having a length and a width; a document illuminating device to illuminate the entire document; an image forming optical system to form an image from light reflected from the document; and a sensor provided in an image forming section of the image forming optical system to read the image of the document. The illumination optical system includes a concentration section to control light diffusion, and a reflection section. The reflection section includes at least two integrally configured reflection surfaces, in which a sine value of an angle of reflected light from at least one reflection surface is positive, while a sine value of an angle of reflected light from the rest of at least one reflection surface is negative.

    摘要: An image display apparatus includes an image forming element, an illumination optical system that guides light emitted from a light source to the image forming element, and a plurality of lenses that project a trapezoidal image formed by the image forming element onto a projected surface. The plurality of lenses have an optical axis that is at an inclination of 1° or more with respect to a perpendicular of a plane including an image forming surface of the image forming element. First rays of the light have a first focal point and second rays of the light have a second focal point. The first focal point is farther from the image forming element than the second focal point is from the image forming element. The first rays form the first portion of the trapezoidal shape and the second rays form the second portion of the trapezoidal shape.

    摘要: An optical scanner includes a light source including light emitters, an aperture member collimating light beams from the light source, a deflector deflecting the light beams passing through the aperture member, and a scanning optical system condensing the deflected light beams onto a scanned surface to optically scan the surface in a main-scanning direction. The scanning optical system includes a resin scanning system having at least one resin scanning lens. At least one folding mirror/sheet glass is disposed between a scanning lens nearest to the deflector in the resin scanning system and the scanned surface. At least one scanning lens in the resin scanning system has an uneven birefringence distribution with respect to a sub-scanning direction. An optical conjugate image of the aperture member is formed between a lens surface nearest to the deflector in the resin scanning system and a lens surface nearest to the scanned surface with respect to the sub-scanning direction.
