The light source unit includes a light source that emits light in a first direction and has a first positioning surface orthogonal to the first direction.     摘要: A lighting unit includes LED chips positioned in an array form in a main scanning direction on LED substrates. Cylindrical parabolic mirrors each form a shape in which a cylindrical paraboloid having curvature with respect to an sub-scanning direction has been clipped by an axial plane that is perpendicular to the vertex of the cylindrical paraboloid in the main scanning direction, and project light emitted from the light source on an illumination area of an illuminated item. Each cylindrical parabolic mirror includes an anchoring section that is provided at the vertex of the cylindrical paraboloid, and extends from the vertex in an outside direction of the cylindrical paraboloid. Heat-radiating plates each have a contact section that is in contact with the LED substrate, and a non-contact section. Each LED substrate is interposed between the contact section of the heat-radiating plate and the anchoring section of the cylindrical parabolic mirror.

    摘要: A light guide includes an incident surface, an exit surface and a reflective surface. The reflective surface is located opposite to the exit surface to extend in the main scanning direction and includes a plurality of light reflecting patterns formed to reflect the incident light toward the exit surface. The light reflecting patterns have an oval hemispherical shape rising toward the exit surface and a first diameter of the oval hemispherical shape along a sub-scanning direction is equal to or longer than a second diameter thereof along the main scanning direction. The light reflecting patterns are formed to vary the ratio of the first diameter to the height of the oval hemispherical shape depending upon the location on the reflective surface in the main scanning direction.

    摘要: An image capture system including a platen for receiving a media sheet bearing an image to be captured; an illumination system for illuminating the media sheet; a mirror disposed in optical communication with the platen, for reflecting light from the illumination system reflected from the media sheet; and an optical sensor for receiving the light reflected by the mirror. The interrelationship between the platen, mirror and optical sensor is such that a location of a top edge of the mirror's primary reflection projected onto the platen is lower than a location of a bottom edge of the image's secondary reflection projected onto the platen. In this way, the image captured by the optical sensor is free of secondary reflections.

    摘要: A scanning module structure includes an optical reflective casing, a light-emitting element, and an optical sensing module. The optical reflective casing includes plural fixed tilting structures and plural reflective aluminum sheets. The plural fixed tilting structures are integrally formed with the optical reflective casing. The plural reflective aluminum sheets are disposed on corresponding fixed tilting structures. The light-emitting element is used for emitting a light beam. The light beam is reflected by the plural reflective aluminum sheets. When the scanning module structure is enabled, the light beam emitted by the light-emitting element is projected onto a document. After the light beam is reflected by the document, the light beam is introduced into the optical sensing module. The light beam is sequentially reflected by the plural reflective aluminum sheets, and then projected onto the optical sensing module. Consequently, a document image corresponding to the document is generated.
