摘要: A primer coating composition for bonding a functional laminate to a lens during cast-polymerization, including an acrylic polymer; a urethane acrylate oligomer; a reactive component capable of reacting with a lens-casting monomer for casting the cast-polymerized lens, a UV initiator or a thermal initiator, and a solvent. A method for cast-polymerizing a lens, including applying the primer coating composition to at least one external surface of a functional laminate; cutting and forming the functional laminate, placing the shaped functional laminate to which the primer coating is applied and a monomer for casting a lens in a casting cell so that the monomer contacts the primed surface of the functional laminate, and cast-polymerizing the monomer in the casting cell. An ophthalmic lens, including a cast-polymerized lens including at least one polymer, a functional laminate, and a primer coating obtained y curing the primer coating composition and deposited on at least one external surface of the functional laminate.

摘要: A spectacle lens is disclosed that includes compound microlenses arranged in a pattern. A compound microlens includes an on-axis microlenslet and an off-axis sub-lenslet located on the on-axis microlenslet. The off-axis sub-lenslet has a different optical functionality than the on-axis microlenslet. By selecting the appropriate compound microlens design, the addition of microlenslets with sub-lenslets around the periphery of the main structure optimizes the spectacle lens for myopia prevention, vertigo prevention, or any other visual related condition.

摘要: The disclosure relates to a method of concealing a non-optically transparent component of an optical article. The method comprises—providing (S7) an optical article comprising: —an optical lens comprising an eyeball side facing an eye of a person when the optical article is worn by the person and an object side opposing the eyeball side, the optical lens comprising on the object side an eyewear shape section extending from an outer contour of the optical lens to an inner contour, and—a non-optically transparent component extending at least partly over the eyewear shape section, and—concealing (S8) the non-optically transparent component by covering at least part of the eyewear shape section of the optical lens using an opaque material.

摘要: This method for retrieving at least one optical parameter of an ophthalmic lens comprises: obtaining an image of a first and second patterns by using an image capture device located at a first position; from that image, obtaining a first set of data from at least a part of the first pattern that is seen through the lens by the image capture device and obtaining a second set of data from at least a part of the second pattern that is seen directly i.e. outside the lens by the image capture device; retrieving the at least one optical parameter by using the first and second sets of data and taking account of relative positions of the image capture device, the lens and the first and second patterns.

摘要: A method for determining an optical lens adapted for a wearer and optimized for at least a given optical criterion having a target value around a specific gaze direction. The method includes determining an intermediate optical lens by optimizing, using an optimization function, an initial optical lens so that the difference between the value of the at least given optical criterion of the intermediate optical lens and the target value of gaze directions around a specific gaze direction is smaller than or equal to a threshold value, and determining the optical lens by optimizing the intermediate optical lens so as to obtain the largest zone of gaze directions around the specific gaze direction for which the difference between the value of the at least given optical criterion and the target value around the specific gaze direction is smaller than or equal to the threshold value.
