摘要： A cookware assembly comprises a lid including an underside and a plurality of basting projections. The underside has a center and extending toward a perimeter of the lid. Each of the plurality of basting projections protrudes downwardly from the underside of the lid. Each of the plurality of basting projections includes an interior concave surface, an exterior concave surface, and a drip ridge. The interior concave surface extends downwardly away from the underside to form a bay adjacent to the interior concave surface. The drip ridge is formed along a border between the interior concave surface and the exterior surface and defines a vertex along the drip ridge. During use of the lid, condensate formed on the underside collects along the interior concave surface, which funnels the condensate to the vertex for droplet formation and release from a corresponding one of the plurality of basting projections.

摘要： A basting device for applying a basting medium to a food comprises an elongated body forming a hollow portion at its distal end and a handle portion toward its proximal end. The device may further include a working portion having a coupling member and a basting member, the coupling member having first and second ends, each end may have an exposed surface adapted to conform to a finger tip of the user. The first end is adapted to removably engage the hollow portion of the elongated body, and the second end is coupled to the basting member. The basting member may include a plurality of concentric bristle members. In other embodiments the basting device may include or be adapted to accommodate a variety of tools. In yet other embodiments, the basting device may include a bulb in fluid communication with the working portion.

摘要： A rotisserie oven comprising a central heating section having a vertical orientation and dividing the cooking space into two equal, independent, and evenly heated roasting chambers; at least two rotisserie rods each driven by a motor; at least two removable basting troughs positioned above the rotisserie rods; at least two drip collection pans positioned below the rotisserie rods; an ash drawer positioned below the central heating section; and a control panel. By inserting a basting fluid in the basting trough, the roasting meat is automatically basted with the dripping basting fluid. The excess basting fluid and the meat juices is collected and can easily be recycled during the roasting process. By providing parts that are removable and have a simple mechanical design, cleaning and maintenance can be kept at a minimum. Mounting the rotisserie oven on top of a cabinet results in added convenience, accessibility, and flexibility.

摘要： A poultry roaster for use on top of a gas-fired cooker includes a barrel-shaped cover that designed to resemble a beer keg and a carrying handle which resembles a pair of oppositely facing beer taps. An open bottom of the cover closely fits to a bottom pan having a plurality of upwardly punched lower heat distribution holes. The cover is retained to the bottom pan by a pair of latch hooks and mating headed pins. A heat deflector includes a circular plate for supporting a basting adapter, and a downwardly dependent annular rim which closely engages the bottom pan. The circular plate includes a plurality of upper heat distribution holes. A heat diffuser chamber formed between the bottom pan and the heat deflector provides even heat flow to an inner cooking chamber of the cover. A single basting adapter for supporting a single larger sized fowl, such as a turkey, in an upright position during cooking includes a horizontally disposed circular base plate securable to the circular plate, and a plurality of upwardly dependent can retainer rods supporting a centrally located upper ring sized to receive a can of beer to be inserted into the body cavity of the whole fowl prior to cooking the fowl. A tri-basting adapter allows three smaller sized whole fowl such as whole chickens, pheasants, and the like to be cooked in the same manner simultaneously.
