摘要： A shuffleboard cue head for propelling a disc along a shuffleboard court comprises an adjustable forked frame having laterally spaced, forwardly extending arms to which substantially rectangularly shaped, detachable runners are pivotally attached. The lateral distance between runners may be adjusted by a turnbuckle arrangement which extends between and is attached to the laterally spaced arms of the frame. The substantially rectangular, pivoted runners are adapted to contact the disc substantially along a line extending between the top and bottom of the disc regardless of the angular orientation of the cue stick with respect to the shuffleboard court. The turnbuckle arrangement provides structural strength to the forked frame.

摘要： A puck for playing an ice hockey-like game, on untraditional surfaces, is provided with a generally cylindrical body of foam rubber or the like. Two smaller-diameter disks or end plates of glide material are secured coaxially therewith on respective opposite ends of the body. The disks and main body are attached to each other by adhesive bonding; maybe a provision is made within the main body and between the end disks to receive weights. An aperture is provided for installing selected amount of material internally of the body weighting after the disks and main body have been secured together.

摘要： A practice hockey puck for use in individual practice on surfaces other than ice. The practice hockey puck body may be a standard hockey puck altered so as to have a plurality of headed pins disposed about the periphery of the two flat surfaces thereon. Headed members are also provided at the center of the two flat surfaces, with the heads thereof extending above the elevation of the heads of the members at the periphery of the flat surfaces so that the majority of the weight of the hockey puck is supported on these central members when resting on a flat surface. The puck is removably coupled to an elastic cord which in turn includes a fastening device at the opposite end thereof for fastening to a hockey stick. One section of the elastic cord may be provided with known and limited breakage characteristics so as to limit the maximum elastic energy which may be stored in the elastic cord to limit the springback of the puck.

摘要： A road hockey puck comprising discs attached to both sides of a larger resilient central member for guiding the resilient and more friction prone member over a hard surface. Several embodiments are disclosed for attaching the discs to the resilient member including a spool having a male member and a female member and a resilient member surrounding a portion of the spool. The male member comprises a disc having a shaft secured thereto and the female member comprises a disc having a sleeve. The shaft is constructed to be removably secured in the sleeve so that the shaft means and sleeve means can be placed through an aperture in the resilient member to hold the resilient member to the spool. The resilient member has a diameter greater than the discs of the male and female members so that it extends past the outer rim of the discs.
