摘要： The improved saw cutting guide of the present invention overcomes many of the disadvantages of prior art power cutting tools by providing a portable, mechanical guide for safely and accurately guiding a powered cutting tool along a predetermined cut line in the workpiece that is at a desired angular position relative to the cutting blade of the power cutting tool. The saw cutting guide includes a main baseplate having a top side and an under side, and featuring a guide track on the top side, for receiving and guiding a power cutting tool, and a pivotally mounted alignment fence on the underside for selectively aligning the work piece in relation to the guide track. In a preferred embodiment, the power cutting tool comprises an electric circular saw having a metal cutting blade featuring cold saw metal-cutting technology.

摘要： A set of plates that interact to control the action of a router to direct it to shape interlocking components in sheet materials. The device is mainly applicable to dovetail joints but it can be applied to lettering and decoration. One of the plates supports the router over the workpiece. A second plate forms a shaped base for the router. Two further plates control the movement of the router plate and hence the router itself on the base plate. Another of the set of plates is indented with depressions that act as a template that controls the position of the cut of the router by means of an attached locating pin that can follow the template. The positioning of the router and the way it attacks the sheet material is unrestrained until checked by the plates. These plates together can form a set of dovetail jigs that cut both through and lapped dovetails using any dovetail cutter.

摘要： A device of utility in precisely setting the angular relationship of a circular saw blade of radial bench type power saw, which includes a special protractor defined by removing adjoining segments of the linear leg and the curved leg thereof, and a modified T-square including a head piece having a curvature matching that of the curved leg of the protractor and a connected ruler blade extending radially toward the center of said protractor, said T-square being improved in that the thickness of the head piece is greater than that of the ruler blade and the location of the ruler blade is such that the blade can be located on either face and still use an upper and lower lip for sliding contact with the circular edge of the protractor, whereby two T-squares are not necessary as in my prior U.S. Pat. Stop flanges delineate the outer limits for movement of the router bit when cutting a door hinge. The router base is rested directly onto the planar surfaces of the longitudinal and transverse members, which are adjusted to the particular size and shape cut-out desired. The jig can be adjusted to define cut-outs having other than right angles.

摘要： This invention provides a quick and accurate gauging means for locating and clamping a guide onto the top surface and leading edge of a workpiece, with respect to the line of cut desired. During execution of the cut, the gauging member of the guide is automatically returned to its storage position and cocked for the next cut. This guide is completely operable with only one hand, leaving the other hand simultaneously free for holding and operating the portable hand power saw. This invention yields cuts that are accurate and more quickly executed than freehand cuts or cuts where other types of saw guides are employed.

摘要： Cutting guide means for a portable powersaw wherein the guide means comprises an elongated platelike bar having a downwardly opening bottom longitudinal rectangular groove slidably receiving the heads of a pair of clamping bolts. Large-diameter nylon clamping nuts are threaded on the bolts and are engageable beneath opposite ends of the faceplate of a portable powersaw, the brackets having downwardly facing channels slidably engageable on the top rib for guiding the saw in a cutting path parallel to the bar. The bar may also include a protractor disposed at one end thereof, the protractor including a pivoted abutment arm movable to preselected angles. Clamp means is provided for locking the protractor arm in a preselected position on the protractor.
