摘要： The invention provides a diameter reducing system for reducing the diameter of a flexible container as the container is filled. The system includes a stretching device to stretch the container at the fill level as the container is filled with a plurality of particles. The stretching device can release a stretched portion of the container substantially at the fill level as the fill level rises. The container can be a flexible, elastic bag. Shrinking of the container at the fill level as the container fills promotes supporting engagement between particles to enhance the structural integrity of the filled container and to reduce the likelihood that particles will be damaged during movement of the filled container.

摘要： A cartridge is provided that can be attached in depending relation to the chute of a bagging machine in order to supply material to form several bags. The cartridge employs a hollow mandrel on which a tube of plastic film is mounted in a collapsed state. The tube is capable of being pulled off the mandrel in an automatic manner. The cartridge also includes a spreader bar at the lower end of the mandrel to brake the movement of the tube off the mandrel when in use.

摘要： Method and apparatus for wrapping articles in a tubular casing of plastic or other suitable material. The tubular wrapping material is threaded in pleats over the outer surface of a pipe, whereafter the articles to be wrapped are fed through the hollow interior of the pipe during simultaneously rotation of the pipe. The articles, when leaving the outlet of the pipe, are helically enclosed by the wrapping tube, which thereby is continuously drawn off from the surface of the pipe. The tubular material is then sealed and cut off when the rear ends of the articles have passed the outlet of the pipe.

摘要： In apparatus for semi-automatically stuffing foodstuff into tubular netting and continuously gathering netting about a tubular element, the action of centering, holding on position and aligning of the tubular element is combined with the netunwinding from spool-feeders in one single improved device which consists of a plurality of rolls located on the tubular element near a constricted section thereof. The tubular element, furthermore, may be removable, and when it is, the tubular element is contained within a sheath and supported therein by an axial spine with a plurality of spaced annuli. 摘要： Flexible tubular material such as tubular films, foils, or webs are inflated or otherwise held in an expanded condition and wound radially inward on a supporting core. The resulting radially wound flexible tubular material is a novel product.
