Abstract: A screw-pump type electro-hydraulic actuator preferably includes an electric motor device, a hydraulic tube, a pump piston, a spline rod, an actuator rod and a hydraulic control circuit. The electric motor device preferably includes an electric motor and a gearbox. One end of the spline rod is engaged with an output of the gearbox. The pump piston preferably includes a piston base, three sets of screw pump rollers, a spline drive gear, a first piston end plate and a second piston end plate. The hydraulic flow circuit includes a first relief valve, a first check valve, a second relief valve, a second check valve and an accumulator. The screw pump rollers are rotatably retained in the piston base between the first and second piston end plates. The spline gear drives the pump driven gears of the three drive screw pump rollers through the spline drive gear to pump hydraulic oil.

Abstract: A fluid-powered rotary actuator having a body with a shaft disposed therein and having a linear-to-rotary force-converting member mounted for longitudinal movement within said body in response to the selective application of pressurized fluid thereto. The actuator uses a torque member having a flange portion attached to the body or an external structure and a grooved central portion. A piston sleeve has outward grooves meshing with inward grooves on the shaft and inward grooves for meshing with outward grooves on the torque member central portion. The body sidewall is not used as a torque transmission surface during fluid-powered operation of the actuator.

Abstract: A mobile apparatus with a fluid pressure-operated implement mounted at a distal end of a boom includes a connection apparatus for selectively rotating the implement about an actuator axis at the distal end of the boom. The connection apparatus includes a rotary actuator and a pressurized fluid circuit for delivery of pressurized fluid through the rotary actuator to the implement. The pressurized fluid circuit includes channels establishing a fluidic connection axially through the rotating shaft of the rotary actuator. The pressurized fluid circuit facilitates passage of pressurized fluid through an internal, protected environment to the implement.

Abstract: The torque converter includes an elongate housing having a main section and a collar section. A piston assembly is reciprocable inside the main section. A plurality of elongate helical bolts with outer helix extends axially from one side of a piston. The opposite side of the piston is entirely exposed to hydraulic forces to maximize potential work thereon. The helical bolts are mated with a rotator in a helical rotation assembly, converting linear motion into rotation, each mated pair generating a given torque. A torque accumulator combines the given torque to generate total output torque greater than the given torque. One or more output endcaps can be provided on the ends of the housing to produce work from the greater output torque.

Abstract: A rotary actuator is provided. The rotary actuator includes a stator assembly centered along a longitudinal axis of the rotary actuator.
