摘要： A chair with self storable tray is composed of a chair component and a tray component. The chair component is composed of a chair, preferably folding, having a chair seat, chair back, a pair of front legs, a pair of rear legs, and a sheath. The tray component includes a pair of articulated arms, each composed of a first arm segment, a second arm segment and a pivot therebetween. The first and second arm segments are slidably received into a respective sheath. A tray is slidably interconnected with the second arm segments. Located within each of the second arm segments is a support rod which is pivotal from a received position to a support position wherein it is engaged with the chair seat. In operation, a user pulls upon the tray component so that it raises up from behind the chair back, wherein the articulated arms slide outwardly with respect to the sheaths until the pivots thereof are exposed. The user than pivots the second arm segments in relation to the first arm segments so that the tray is located at the front of the chair, while the support rods fall and are seatingly engaged with respect to the chair seat so as to thereby provide support for the tray. The user may slide the tray off the second arm segments to sit upon the chair and then slide it back on.

摘要： An infant seat for cantilever mounting to a tabletop includes a pair of spaced-apart support members. Each support member is disposed on either side of the infant seat and includes a top portion adapted for contacting the upper surface of a tabletop, and a bottom portion adapted for contacting the under surface of a tabletop. When a baby is placed in the seat, the weight of the baby in cooperation with the top and bottom portions of the spaced-apart support members provides cantilever mounting of the seat to the tabletop. In addition, the infant seat includes a clamping support assembly which has a member projecting generally outwardly and upwardly as it extends from a forward side of a seat bottom. A telescoping member in association with a spring is capable of extensible and retractable movement from a distal end of the upwardly and outwardly projecting member. This telescoping member engages the under surface of a tabletop and in cooperation with the top portion of the spaced-apart members provides clamping support of the infant seat to the tabletop. Since the telescoping member can vary as it extends from or retracts into the outwardly and upwardly projecting member, it is self-adjusting in that it can accommodate tabletops having different thicknesses.

摘要： A clamp mounted foldable portable baby chair is provided having a pair of spaced-apart substantially U-shaped elongate clamp support members having upper and lower support arm extensions which are adapted to clampably engage a table top therebetween. A horizontally oriented seat bottom member is pivotally suspended below the spaced-apart clamp support members by use of pivotal support links. The seat bottom member is selectively retractable to a horizontal storage position between the clamp support members. A vertically oriented seat back member is pivotally connected along the lower edge thereof to the rear edge of the seat bottom member. The seat back member extends upwardly between the spaced-apart clamp support members at the rear portions thereof and the seat back member is pivotally connected at the sides thereof to the lower support arm extensions proximate to the U-shaped portions of the clamp support members. The seat back member is selectively foldable forwardly to a horizontally oriented storage position between the spaced-apart clamp support members upon corresponding retractive movement of the seat bottom member to a retracted storage position thereagainst. Adjustment lock arm means are provided in association with the seat bottom member and the seat back member so as to provide for selective locking adjustment thereof into various operative use positions in relation to the clamp support members.

An upper set of laterally spaced support arms are secured within armrest portions of the chair, and a lower support arm is centrally secured within the seat portion of the chair. The upper set of arms cooperate with the lower arm so as to define a horizontal channel therebetween within which a projection portion of a dining table is to be disposed and from which the chair will be supported by means of the support arms. The proximal ends of the support arms are crimped so as to define laterally extending, flattened ears which then become embedded within the molded armrest and seat portions of the chair whereby translational and rotational movement of the support arms, along and about three mutually orthogonal axes, respectively, is positively prevented.

The sheet material of which the tray is made has a transverse upwardly convex arch over its length to provide it with rigidity when it is extended in the manner conventionally subscribed to by tape measures, this sheet becoming flexible in the longitudinal direction for rolling when the sheet is retracted onto its roller.
