摘要： A fastener gun includes a housing having a plunger and a power spring for driving a fastener into a workpiece, and a trigger arm pivotally attached to the housing at a trigger pivot. One end of the trigger arm lifts the plunger to bias the power spring when the trigger arm pivots in a first direction toward the housing. A member contacting the trigger arm is provided that moves away from the trigger pivot as the handle moves toward the housing, so that force is applied at different locations on the trigger arm when the handle is squeezed, increasing the mechanical advantage of using the fastener gun.

Thus, the snapping portion of the handle is locked in the locking portion of the fixing seat to form a first locking effect, and the tapered face of the support rack of the fixing seat is rested on the tapered face of the pivot shaft of the handle to form a second locking effect, so that the handle is fixed on the fixing seat rigidly and stably, thereby preventing the handle structure from detaching from the main body due to the shock or vibration produced during operation of the flooring nailer.

摘要： A manually operated leak detection device used in locating fluid leaks in a ground surface includes an elongated rod and a handle transversely fixed thereto. The invention is improved by fixing an anvil on the rod; slidably mounting a first collar on the rod above the anvil; slidably mounting a second collar on the rod below the anvil; connecting and spacing the first and second collars by a pair of parallel guide rods passing through the anvil, each of the guide rods lying on one side of the rod; providing a protective sheath over the anvil, the first and second collars and the guide rods, the sheath being connected to the second collar; and slidably mounting a handle over the rod and a top portion of the first collar, the handle being secured to the sheath at the top of the first collar. The rod is manually and sequentially driven into the ground surface in the vicinity of the fluid leak by repeated forceful engagement of the first collar against the anvil without the need for a separate driving tool, and the guide rods and the sheath act to stabilize the rod in the area of impact between the first collar and the anvil.

The tool includes a body member having opposite first and second ends and a bore therethrough extending between the first and second ends of the body member. A shaft member is attached and secured to the second end of the rod via a rod adaptor. A drive ring head is secured to the shaft and is adapted to receive the head portion of a drive ring. Once the drive ring is received within the drive ring head, a force is imparted onto the first end of the rod and is transferred to the drive ring, thereby driving the drive ring into its intended surface.

A tool is provided having a reciprocable firing pin for detonating a power charge in a powered fastener supported within the tool. An exhaust gas chamber is provided in the tool for reducing noise. A powered fastener is provided having a receptacle end in which a nitrocellulose composition charge is mounted. The receptacle end has a cylindrical portion and a conical portion. The cooperation of the target work surface, the pointed end of the fastener, the fastener support portion of the tool, the firing pin and the shape of the receptacle end of the fastener serve to detonate the power charge and drive the fastener into the work surface.
