Abstract:
A container (10) for storing and dispensing, one at a time, a plurality of rolls of tissue stacked vertically adjacent one another includes tubular side walls (18,20,22,24) having a longitudinal axis and a pair of end portions (28,32) spaced from each other along the axis and being respectively joined to the side walls (18,20,22,24). One of the end portions (28) is closed to support a roll thereon and the other of the end portions (32) includes an end wall (34) inclined radially inwardly and axially relative to the axis. The end wall (34) defines a generally oval-shaped opening (36) through which to insert the rolls into the container (10) while preventing removal of such a roll from the container (10) through the opening (36).
Abstract:
A tying and storage ring for a reel of recording tape has a strip of extensible flexible material intended for surrounding a reel. It is equipped with closing means having a buckle made in one piece with a suspension hook and fastened rigidly to one of the ends of the strip, this buckle, when under tension, catching on a boss formed on the other end of the strip. The buckle has an orifice surrounding the boss and its sides have gripping means. The strip can also have a protective boss located very near the end of the buckle or, in an alternative embodiment, the end of the buckle has a sloping front face preventing the buckle from being caught accidentally.
Abstract:
A dispenser providing access to a plurality of pre-moistened towelettes and having dual orifices covered by a self sealing lid. A larger recessed orifice in the top side of the container accommodates a smaller opening and both openings are covered by a lid attached to a ledge surrounding the larger recessed orifice perimeter. The lid has approximately the same planar dimensions as the combination planar dimensions of the recess and ledge and is held in a closed position by press fitting under an outer border curbing the perimeter of the outermost edge of the ledge. A removable back panel is provided for ease of refilling prepackaged towelettes in the dispenser, and a second back attachment means is provided for attaching or mounting the dispenser to a flat surface.
Abstract:
A chain bag dispensing arrangement comprising a container housing a folded pack of unfilled chain bags connected by frangible links. The bags are adapted to be withdrawn seriatim through a dispensing slot in one wall of the container. Each succeeding bag may be braked against a surface along the slot, when partially withdrawn from the bag to facilitate separation of the lead bag by breaking of the link connecting them. A floating drag and holddown board lies on top of the bag pack. The pack may have one stack of fan folded bags or it may comprise a plurality of stacks wherein each fan folded layer has a plurality of bags.
Abstract:
A cuboid container is designed with hinging and pivot-limiting devices which consist of hinge pins, hinge holes and recesses and projections and webs and grooves which fit the latter. The shapes and numbers of the elements are selected so that, in addition to greater ease of manufacture, a reliably functioning hinging and limiting device is achieved in several radial positions. The container is particularly suitable for use as a cassette container.
Abstract:
A storage case for a video cassette. The case is in the general form at a book and is openable to a flat condition. A hollow wall, blow-molded construction imparts structural rigidity to the case and also provides shock resistance for its contents. The case is formed by blow molding a single, unitary, hollow parison of a thermoplastic material and then pressing two parallel portions of the blow-molded article to form living hinges. Integral resilient latch elements hold the case closed yet permit easy reopening. The case is formed in an essentially single operation.
Abstract:
A stack of plastic bags having a reclosable adhesive seal wherein the bags each have a flap and the bags are stacked end to end with the flaps at alternate opposite edges of the stack and each bag is adhered to the adjacent bag by the adhesive for sealing the flap to close the bag.
Abstract:
A film holder which is disclosed herein includes a inner frame defining a photo-sensitive plate insert slot between a partition plate, and outer frames each defining a dark slide insert groove between said inner frame. In this film holder, a plurality of stopper springs are formed on the peripheral sides of a body which is comprised of the partition plate and the inner frame. A plurality of hooks are formed on each the outer frames which are overlaid on the body to define the dark slide insert slot. These stopper springs and hooks are in the corresponding relationship, respectively, so that they are engaged with each other to lock the body and outer frames together in an overlaid relationship.
Abstract:
In a wire shipping and dispensing package comprising a wire-carrying spool disposed vertically in a generally rectangular carton having side and end walls extending upwardly from a substantially square bottom section to define a substantially square open top, the lower end portion of the carton is adapted to frictionally fit within the upper end portion of a substantially identical carton disposed therebelow. A pad sheet is removably secured in the open top of the carton in engagement with the rim of an upwardly cupped upper end flange of the spool and provides a seating surface for the bottom section of a substantially identical carton disposed thereabove with its lower end portion fitted into the upper end portion of the lower carton. The pad sheet has a central opening therein providing access to handle means affixed to the spool and located within the confines of the upper end flange for manual lifting and transport of the spool by the handle means while the carton is retained on the spool by the pad sheet.
Abstract:
A miniature wind sock assembly adapted to be coiled and inserted into a small plastic display container. The wind sock is supported on a spring mast in turn fixed to a spring base bracket that is designed to be attached either to standard bicycle handlebars or to standard adjustable headband hats.
