摘要: A device for buffering products comprises a plurality of accumulating conveyors, each having a supplying place for receiving products and a discharging place for discharging products. The device further comprises an adjustable diverter which is connectable to a supplying conveyor for supplying the products in at least one flow. The diverter is connected to a selected one of the supplying places of the accumulating conveyors for conveying the flow of products to the corresponding accumulating conveyor . The device further comprises a merging member which is connectable to a discharging conveyor for conveying the products in at least one flow. The merging member is connected to a selected one of the discharging places of the accumulating conveyors for conveying the products from the corresponding accumulating conveyor to the discharging conveyor. The accumulating conveyors (1) form at least a helical path, which results in a compact device.

摘要: A method and a device are provided for automatically supplying packages, that have been sorted by type, to a column stacker, preferably in a sorting system. The device has at least one supply path (2) on which the packages, which have been sorted by type, are automatically supplied to the column stacker (3) individually and chaotically distributed in partial stacks. The invention proposes that at least two packages (T1, T1) or partial stacks of packages (T2, T2 or T3, T3 or T4, T4 or T5, T5)—as long as said partial stacks are not already randomly present on the supply path (2)—of the same height disposed one directly behind the other be combined with the aid of a package register 1 before being supplied to the column stacker (3) simultaneously.

摘要: A circuit board inspection apparatus is equipped with a plurality of lane divided sections for transferring circuit boards, a plurality of movable transfer devices disposed on the plurality of the lane divided sections and having transfer portions for transferring the circuit boards, and visual recognition positions disposed adjacent to the plurality of the lane divided sections in a Y direction. The plurality of the movable transfer devices transfer the circuit boards from the lane divided sections to the visual recognition positions. One of the movable transfer devices has a height adjustment portion that moves a corresponding one of the transfer portions in a Z direction to prevent the movable transfer device from interfering with a corresponding one of the lane divided sections, in transferring one of the circuit boards from one of the lane divided sections to one of the visual recognition positions.

摘要: An apparatus for diverting a stream of articles includes a first conveyor driven in a first direction and at a first speed around a first axle, and a second conveyor is driven in a second direction generally opposite of the first direction and at a second speed around a second axle, the first and second conveyors disposed generally parallel to each other. A diverter element extends at least partially across the first and second conveyors to divert articles conveyed on the first conveyor onto the second conveyor. A differential drive mechanism is operatively interconnected with and driven by the first and second axles in a direction responsive to a relative rotation speed difference between the first and second axles, the differential drive mechanism being located exterior to the first and second conveyors. An endless loop is operatively connected to the diverter element and the differential drive mechanism, the endless loop being driven by the differential drive mechanism to thereby move the diverter element in a path generally parallel to the first and second conveyors. Related structures, drives, and controls are also disclosed.

摘要: The intermediate store has an input station for loading and an output station for unloading transport racks circulating in buffer zones between these two stations. The two stations each have a vertical conveyor for the transport racks, each of the two vertical conveyors being equipped with two pairs of chains driven independently of one another. The two pairs of chains in the input station alternately transport one transport rack each stepwise past a loading device and subsequently, after being decoupled from synchronous operation, transport them further, with the result that loading of the transport racks without interruption is permitted. The output station is formed analogously so that there too there are no interruptions between the emptying of two successive transport racks.

摘要: An accumulator having a general U-shape includes two parallel endless belt conveyors, communicating through an endless belt conveyor with semicircular trajectory borne by a mobile carriage driven by a translation movement parallel to the parallel conveyors. The accumulator for guiding (20, 21, 22, 23) the upper side of the endless belt (5) of the first conveyor (4) adapted to lower the downstream part of the upper side located beneath the semicircular conveyor (10). The lowering places in the same plane, the transport plane of the first conveyor (5) and the transport plane of the semicircular conveyor (10). The guide is simultaneously mobile with the carriage (16) for manoeuvring in translation the semicircular conveyor (10) so that the downstream end of the transport plane of the first conveyor (5) should follow the displacement of the upstream end of the semicircular conveyor (10).

摘要: A compact article singulation conveyor includes a receiving portion which receives articles in random order including clusters of side-by-side articles and a discharge portion from which articles are discharged in a single file singulated stream. A first conveying surface transports articles longitudinally from the receiving portion to the discharge portion. A recirculating bed removes side-by-side articles from a downstream portion of the first conveying surface to an upstream portion of the first conveying surface. The recirculating bed may be made up of at least one peel-away conveyor having a second conveying surface adapted to move side-by-side articles laterally off the first conveying surface, at least one coupling conveyor having a third conveying surface adapted to move articles from the second conveying surface upstream and at least one return conveyor having a fourth conveying surface adapted to move articles from the third conveying surface to the first conveying surface. Each of the conveying surfaces may be defined by a plurality of powered rollers. Clusters of articles tend to recirculate around the recirculation bed and the first conveying surface as individual articles of the cluster are pulled away along the first conveying surface. A take-away conveyor at the discharge portion includes a flow controller controlling the flow of articles discharged from the discharge portion.

摘要: A multilevel storage device for CD cases includes at least two conveyors, upper and lower, respectively, leading to a feeding station which receives groups of containers having relative hinged edges suitably oriented. A station loads groups of cases on the lower conveyor and a transfer unit which picks up the groups of cases from a downstream end of said lower conveyor to the upper conveyor when sensor means detect absence of groups of cases at an upstream end of the upper conveyor. Presence of groups of cases at a downstream end of the upper conveyor, before the feeding station is detected by other sensor means.
